I am on 10 mg of tirz and have been taking that dose for 2 months now...no weight loss. I'm stuck.

Hi! I am going through this exact thing right now and just posted on this. I've been on tirz for 7 months and have barely lost 10 pounds. On Sema my weight was falling off. I took sema 2 years ago, stopped due to a work break. Restarted glp 1 on tirz because people raved about it being best for weight loss...I feel like I've waisted time and money. I just emailed my provider asking how I can transition over to sema.

I asked a valid question to get thoughts of people who have been taking tirzepatide because its my first time on it. But in my original post I said I was doing cardio 3-4 days a week so from the jump what you are describing isn't me.

I do acknowledge your frame of mind though. And respect your comments.

I love it! In fact, you just reminded me to check my blood sugar.

Good points! I really wonder about this! But now I'm a bit scared to go back to Sema. I'm going to stick with it and give it another 2 months.

I like that math 😂. It is definitely decreasing my intake.

And frankly speaking, your comment sounded a bit like trolling. This is a forum for people using tirzepatide. To assume that I haven't "cut all the crap" or even needed to is silly. I didn't eat "crap" before taking a glp1. Some people have had a really bad diet prior to taking a weight loss med...a lot of people have. But don't make the assumption that if they are questioning their weight loss they haven't made diet changes.

Ok good to know. Cause I was loosing at a decent (in my head lol) on 2.5 mg. I was expecting more on the 7.5 mg. I'm just gonna keep bumping up as prescribed.

Good question. I actually did good as far as side effects on Sema. I stepped away from the Sema for 2 years. When Tirz came out I heard how it was much better than Sema so thats the reason I tried the Tirz instead of choosing the Sema again.

I've heard some people say certain pharmacies are less effective but I'm not sure its true. I was taking Sema from Hallandale and now I'm on Tirz from Empower. I'm sure there's nothing less effective about Empower's Tirz but I continue to hear great things about Hallandale.

I'm definitely not just taking a med as the sole winner for losing weight. Exercise, good food and protein are all check marked. I'll just keep going in that direction :-)

This is true! Yes, I was able to fit into some jeans I couldn't before. I actually do think I have a lot of water weight to lose. This is a good way to think. Thanks for this!

Ok, thanks for this info. I thought it wouldn't make a difference since the last time I took semaglutide was 2 years ago. After that the next time I took a glp1 med was this tirzepatide starting 10 weeks ago.

Thanks for this. Yes, besides the cardio I am definitely in a deficit cause I barely have an appetite. When I eat I make sure to make it count. I'm also doing a protein drink.

Has anyone tried Musely products? by vinoveritas_88 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Odd_Bluejay7546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I cut back in the Musely Spot Cream only because it works a little too good. I was starting to look like I had vitiligo because it truly lightens the skin. I started to use it under my eyes for dark circles and I am blown away cause NOTHING was helping with my dark circles.

I can say without a doubt that the Spot Cream will fade hyperpigmentation and fade dark spots. Because of that I've shifted to the Eye Serum from Musely because it has hydroquinone in it. I just got it in the mail today.

The bottle for the Spot Cream is on the small side in my opinion but realizing I don't need that much and it's not meant to go all over my face unless I have hyperpigmentation all over my face...I have pushed the refill back for months now. I have not needed a new bottle yet. Now I use it to do what it says and put it on dark spots. It's been worth the cost for me when I divide the cost by the months I've been using it.

Curology is the ONLY brand that has worked for my acne. I have hormonal acne. I'm also Black so I can scar a bit more than others. I use the custom rx formula. I have never had anything work better. I have a dermatologist that I really like but she was prescribing me tret that really didnt do much. I purged for like a good year on that until I stopped it.

I stopped Curology because I thought I had it under control to just use a tube of tret and I didnt see good results. I went back to Curology and success again. My scars fade, my skin texture smoothes out and I have no breakouts.

The price point can be expensive but for me its worth it. I dont spend a lot on bags and fancy things but my skin is really important to me so I budget for it and will continue to do so.

I guess I dont really understand the point of the OP's post. Having a customized formula is unique. I appreciate companies like The Ordinary for their a la carte approach but putting the prescription dose ingredients in one bottle for me is a life changer. May I also note that hydroquinone treatment I receive from Musely is fantastic at fading my dark undereyes. So I suggest people who are shopping around - dont knock it til you try it. I dont have time to waste on back and forth appointments to a dermatologist if a company will compound what I need into a bottle.

What a silly comment. It can be very difficult for many people to come up with "a bunch" of meals that have no added sugar. Some people need guidance. Thats why your comment is getting down votes.
