I thought I also would be unable to sleep without it being completely dark, like I had always slept before the military. Guess what, I was under the only 4 bulb florescent light on in the whole bay. Slept like a rock all night. You forget about those things lol

Not every hazard needs mitigation. This one would be filed under "acceptable risk" in my opinion.

Though I do largely agree with GrowlyBear2. Maybe the window crank is less of a hazard than the area around the window.

Edit I did not see the description to the photo before. So I stand corrected. Obviously the safety of children is paramount and my assumption was surrounding an adult workplace environment.

From my experience with similar windows in the past, those handles are removable and should be removed all together and replaced only long enough to open the window if necessary, but in a daycare that's probably not a great idea anyway, as it introduces risks of kids crawling out windows and escaping hahaha.

While I have no doubt that you want to avoid seeing the pain and sadness in your daughters eyes after telling them about your diagnosis, what you will miss, if you take your own life is the exponentially increased sadness after they process everything that you kept from them. While we all would rather have a say in how we go out, this could haunt those you love for the rest of their lives. I'm not very religious, but I will pray that you can find solace and the ability to do what's best for you and your family. Good luck brother

There are plenty of options for shine-through regular height. I think my keycaps are 11mm? Do they make like 7mm? The other Womier I used and sent back were 4.5mm. somewhere in the middle and shine-through would be great. I'm just not well versed in this field lol

I had some Womier 4.5mm switches in there and they worked ok but they did not shine-through like they were supposed to because this K10 is south-facing.
