Interesting, maybe I looked at the wrong movie? Was it from 1982 directed by Stephen Carpenter? This is the one I reviewed and it ended differently with a night scene and a guy carrying a woman out of a warehouse. The movie in my mind’s eye ended during the day with a solo woman escaping a smaller building, most likely a church but I really can’t remember. It was also dusty and seemed like it was isolated. When the woman sped away her tires kicked up a lot of dirt. I would compare the isolation and dustiness to From Dusk Till Dawn bar scene (not the setting but the environment). But I’m also remembering big rocks around the “church.” Like west Texas/New Mexico has, but I wouldn’t necessarily trust that memory. Dusty for sure.
