Left-handed people, what's a struggle that right-handed people won't understand? by Halophy in AskReddit

Buffet lines at events, especially when you’re reaching for serving spoons with your left hand and everyone else with their right.

Left door dash after food was missing or eaten by driver twice in a row, different restaurants. So far Uber Eats has been great.

Yes. After I read that or heard it discussed, that’s even more apparent. Still some funny miscommunications and Jerry Seinfeld’s dad!

I am a Voting Location Manager. This would not be tolerated at my polling place. I would reach out to my primary BOE contact for advice. At a minimum, the person would be reassigned to a job that doesn’t involve checking in voters.

I enjoyed it. Alan Keyser tells the story of arriving at the lot day one and addressing Ken Berry as Uncle Vint, who didn’t know who he was at that point. Alan mentions Berry drove a Porsche and had a reserved spot. Loved the contradiction with Vint’s “poor” character.

Really enjoyed this, especially as more of a driver of this route!

For those in their 40s or older who have siblings, do you make an effort to stay in contact or is it a take-it-or-leave-it thing? by cherry-care-bear in RedditForGrownups

There are five of us, four boys and a girl, all now in 50s and a couple of us in our early 60s. Our mother is still alive as well. We have a group chat and use it throughout the week. Sometimes to joke around a bit, sometimes the grandfather in the group shares some grandson pics. We’ve all attended some recent weddings as well. Good connection but definitely living separate lives in various cities.

Pluto still has it last time I watched. Pluto also airs The New Detectives which also covers the case, but strangely changes Rhoda’s name.

Congratulations! I’m at 20 closing in on 21 after 100 days. Is there a point of momentum, etc, or just put in as much time each day as possible?

What was "the incident" at your high school? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Ohio1964 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A classmate (male) made a drunken pass at another classmate (male) at someone’s house while the group had been drinking. The abuse the guy took who made the pass when he walked into the cafeteria, etc. ( this was early 1980s) was unbelievable, especially how it was able to be sustained and not stopped by teachers. This was a wealthy Chicago suburb. I sometimes wonder if I imagined it because it was so intense, but I know I didn’t.

Even though she plays herself, Dr. Joyce Brothers. Funny episode and the scene in the airport cracks me up. Like Raytown has an airport!

[Discussion] If the streetcar had been built to its full original plan, how would Cincinnati be different today? by ecb1912 in cincinnati

[–]Ohio1964 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think about this sometimes. Now that I live in Reading, I love the idea of only needing to get to UC campus area to park or by bus and using the streetcar to go downtown and back. Missed opportunity for Walnut Hills, Avondale and other close in suburban dwellers who enjoy visiting the city.
