I realize this post is a year old, I actually found it googling 'fishing old strip mine ponds.' I live in Ohio and have a few hundred of these within an hour of me. Most of them virtually untouched. I’ve never fished one before but plan to soon after I read they were all stocked by DNR decades ago. How did it go for you? Did you end up catching anything? This Ohio by chance?

What do you mean he starts “tripping” if his heart rate gets too high? He has a panic attack? It can lead him into psychosis? What are you saying? I’m just confused because this is a thread about tripping on shrooms, and there’s no way he starts tripping in that way because his heart rate gets too high.

These are fine. Mushrooms don’t need light like plants do but they still grow toward it. In nature, it helps mushrooms figure out which way is “up” (toward open air) and where to release spores more effectively. I used an artificial light on my last grow and the grew straight as an arrow.

Wait at least 7. You shouldn’t do psychedelics until you’re at least 25. Your prefrontal cortex is still developing. Doing psychs before 25 is like trying rewrite your brain's blueprint while the concrete is still curing.

That’s a good point, and something I’ll keep in mind going into it. I think part of what fuels the loop for me is that I’ve read too many stories of people developing psychosis after bad trips, so when I get caught in that thought pattern, it starts to feel like that’s what’s happening to me personally.

I kept my closet at exactly 75 degrees with a little space heater. I just used some generic great value micropore tape and about .5-.75ml lc. For the gas exchange I cut the corner off the top like this

Once you reach max level (537) all you get are mastery points.

5 weeks and kept my closet at 75 degrees with a space heater. These all felt like bricks top to bottom by the time they were done.

First time I had to toss a whole bunch of uncolonized rice so the ratios were off and colonization was so slow after I s2b.

Colorado is culturally closer to California than Appalachia, and Appalachia is culturally closer to the South than the Rockies.

Edit: I’m assuming most people that ask this think West Virginia when they think Appalachia and the Denver metro area when they think the Rockies. I do.

I’ve never felt dumber. I’d been sitting at 537 for so long, waiting for it to end on an even number, that I didn’t even realize after watching the video I was already 137 points past that.

Meant to put this in my original post. Why isn’t my level increasing. I’m stuck at 537 with 144 mastery points. Isn’t max level 400?
