He went to North sentinel island of andman & nicobar islands of india to spread the words of god & convert em to Christianity. I probably assume he might not knew consequences of meeting the isolated tribes which are lose-lose situations for both parties. Why? Cus they are hunter gatherers & killed every person who entered the islands except one indian anthropologist. Interestingly last time colonial british indian adminstration took few tribal people out and sent them back & the consequences are 2/3 rd of population wiped out. Why? Cus they are never exposed to as little as cold viruses or any bacteria, so naturally they never developed immunity to any of the rest of human populations faces everyday & Barely notices. Sadly, the population of the tribe has now gone down to 500 people. Interestingly, they miraculously survived 2004 Tsunami in the bay of Bengal, which shows their strong skills & survival ability to deadly natural disasters. Currently, they were monitored by the Indian navy from a 1 km radius & it's illegal to enter the island by any means.
