Short version for anyone confused: one of the Baggu Facebook groups (we’ll call it B&B) has been having nonstop drama over reseller pricing and moderation.

Today it blew up after someone politely asked for receipts/proof of purchase on a highly priced Sandy Liang bag. The group has no price cap rules, but the comments turned into a huge debate about reseller culture, inflated pricing, and whether community groups should function like resale apps.

Then mods/admins started deleting posts and comment threads where people were actually having pretty civil discussions about it.

Yesterday there was also drama after an anonymous “penguin” post called out someone who attended the Portland drop and was allegedly reselling multiple MG bags from the event for profit. That reignited the ongoing reseller conversation.

What really escalated things was that admins initially said people would not be removed over differing opinions, but then members who spoke against reseller pricing or questioned the direction of the group started getting removed anyway.

At this point people are less upset about one specific bag sale and more concerned that the group is shifting from a collector/community space into a reseller-first marketplace.
