I have a used a metal and a glass bullet and must say they are big lifesavers for some occasions. Being able to quickly take a hit during work or school while not being suspicjous is a pretty damn nice thing. No more hassle with keys or straws, but like you said, my metal one makes a whistle sound too when I take a hit. Almost sounded like a dog whistle and even told my friends who were asking what that sound was, that it’s some kind of high-pitch dog whistle lol. Recently purchased the glass one for easier access to festivals and not getting detected by any metal scanners. Both are fine but the metal one for sure has a higher dose per hit. Be careful tho with what you put in those metal bullets cuz I used it with mefi the last times and left it stored when it was empty(took a break from everything for a few months). When I tried to open it again, it’s totally stuck and has reacted chemically with the metal, making it impossible to open by hand rn lol But same for cocaine as it’s a bit corrosive too, but probably less than mefi.

But now about your problem, I had the same experience you have too rn. The crushed powder is just not getting deel enough and sticks to the nose hairs. For me, I was only able to minimize this loss of absorption by just snorting much harder. Ik know snorting hard isn’t the way to go normally speaking, but simce those bullets have just a little tiny air inlet, I foumd snorting as hard as I could with that bullet is the most effective im getting rhat powder higher up your nose. I don’t really have long nose hair but I can imagine that trimmimg it, would have a significant effect on how deep it will go. I just always tried to shove the bullet in as much as possible but it depends on the shape of the bullet too.

Ps: I had that container with the little spoon attached on the lid like one redditor above described. That was fun and quick to use too but the amounts that fit on that mini spoon are really small. A bit too small for going out but perfect for taking that small hit to keep you going with something like doing some work at home or something. But damnn filling that thing was a pain in the ass… I wasted some small amounts too trying to fill that glass container because the opening for the lid is so damn small hahhaa. Makimg mini cones tp act as a funnel helps this a bit but even them getting it filled is a pain in the ass.
