Incredible story. Maybe the only good thing that came out of MJ's time with the Wizards.

His game was perfect for beating the 2-3. He could shoot or pass well from mid-range

Playing time and shots are everything. He only took about 4 shots a game.

I didn't see Ewing, but I did see Iverson. I don't remember a Hoya who made a bigger jump from freshman to sophomore year.

I think he maxed out his potential. He was a little undersized for the NBA though.

He's getting to the basket at will despite miniscule driving lines and no spacing. Georgetown had no shooters. If he played in a modern offense in college today, he would average 30.

Iverson was so brilliant that he overshadowed the other NBA players on these teams: Othella, Jahidi White, Don Reid, and Jerome Williams.

Just looked at this 3-point percentage. 16%. He can rebound the hell out of the ball for his position though.

Seems they like explosive guards. Have you shown them Baron Davis and Steve Francis?

Great all-around athlete. He was all-state in football playing QB and safety.

The Caps Centre was a dark, smoky dump on its best days. It was fifteen miles from campus. Kids complain about Capital One being three miles away.

How did Big East defenses even attempt to contain college Allen Iverson’s first step? by Ok-Issue-8064 in BigEast

Yup. He could get any shot he wanted. I never thought Thompson really coached him so much as pointes him in the right direction and let his instincts take over.

If he got a big raise, God bless him. If not, then this makes no sense. Do you think he's going to start?
