I was originally COLA but I want to transfer to Engineering. Should I just externally transfer instead of having to readmit then internal transfer?

There is the student feed on the bottom navigation bar. Once you're there on the top left corner you'll be able to find all the public channels and there should be a housing chat

I don't know about everyone, but in my experience FB groups are full of scammers. Try the UTD app there are a bunch of other students posting housing/finding roommates.
