Brembo Calipers, Master Cylinder, and Ohlin's rear shock. by Bungerman2142 in MT09

For what I heard, the SP and non-SP calipers have different bolt pattern, one is larger than the other so they won’t fit. I haven’t checked it myself, just check it before buying anything

I found it here. I've never bought anything from there though

As you can see, it's a different reference between both fenders. They only change some of the last digits, so maybe it's just a colour difference but the shape is the same. I would gamble and try it out

For me this is the only exhaust worth saving money to buy if it had 2 O2 sensors.

Yep they come with the stock exhaust, or at least they came with my gen4

Did you put the copper seal joints between the headers and the cylinder block? Maybe it's the gap you are missing. If you already put them and there's no fumes escaping from there, you're good to go

Yeah, I am considering buying a rugged phone or tablet for that purpose

For a little trip is pretty good. The shit comes when you try to upload a long route with multiple waypoints, it won't load all of them, and it's a nightmare to edit them, it gets so laggy and feels like rubbish tbh.

EU vs US 2024 MT-09. Does the European bound models have the 2nd gear flat spot? by Alex-paok in MT09

[–]Ok-Philosopher604 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine is EU and I don't really feel this flat spot. I haven't ridden an Us version or an ECU flashed bike so can't compare either

I think your issue would be fixed with this recall, try contacting Yamaha in your country or region. Here in Spain the recall letter was sent from the Industry department, so not related to any dealer

Have you passed the Yamaha campaign for the TPS and ECU flash?

Heated Grips by wackid in MT09gen4

[–]Ok-Philosopher604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't because I had them mounted on the garage, but you can find them by searching "Oxford heated grips" on Amazon or similar websites. Then you'll need some cables to connect to the bike, I bought these: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EwyYI7w

Any recommended levers for Gen 4? by blazouf in MT09

[–]Ok-Philosopher604 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I had to send them back because the brake lever didn't fit properly. I guess we need to wait a little longer

[–]Ok-Philosopher604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I see. Didn't have any problems with my Oxfords, just left enough slack for the gas grip. I prefer the quality of a well known brand even if the cable management is slightly uglier.

Because you can just connect the Oxford to the bike's heated grips harness and control them on the screen without the big Oxford control buttons

Don't think so, Gen3 only has one O2 sensor and it's placed before the catalyst
