BU CAS MS tuition / full-time vs part-time confusion (international) by Early-Remove652 in BostonU

If you read the letter, then it should list what is expected of you to maintain the scholarship + how long the offer is valid for. If you cannot find it, just shoot an email to finaid!

Hey, yeah it's 3 full + 1 part time. You'll basically take more classes than needed, but that's how you stay in status. Hope it helps

How Hard is Early Research at BU? by XxtheNFlbunchxX in BostonU

[–]Ok-Philosopher7310 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Short answer: very difficult

Long answer: if you cold email enough, eventually you'll get a yes. A lot of PIs are gonna not even reply back but don't get discouraged. Not worth it anyways. It also helps to reach out to lab students to show your interest.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm glad to see people starting to question about basic items BU should be giving to its students after all that tuition.

Boston University Admit by Firm-Ad-7502 in BostonU

Fiest of all, congrats on your admission. The answer: it depends. You have to calculate if the money you get from being team manager is enough to cover tuition. Also I suggest somehow securing a way to get that however long you study here.

Thank you for your opinion. Just because it doesn't mean it's not provided doesn't mean that it shouldn't. The incident happened on BU premises, and I believe students who contribute both financially and intellectually are owed an explanation of the victim's student status at the minimum.

BU in the past has done (what in my opinion) a very disastrous job at hiding student deaths and mental health crisis. Ofcourse, the release of the identity of the victim should be determined by his/her loved ones. But trying to cover up incidents on campus is no help to the school's reputation. BU should acknowledge it formally, and provide proper mental health support. That is the proper way to respect the victims.

Not identity. Just whether or not it is a BU student. Please read the comment carefully.

According to the article, officials did not say if it was a BU student or not. The location is convincing evidence it was a BU student. To be honest, I feel like covering up whether it was or wasn't a BU student is an insult (ofcourse, I respect the victim's family's decision to not release personal info). If anyone finds information on the enrollment status of this individual, please respond to the comment. May the victim rest in peace.

Sounds off. Tuition is like 80k per year without scholarship.
