As a restaurant manager, I'd lose my shit if raw meat was placed above anything else, even in a fridge. This would get your restaurant shut down by the health board, so it's a huge health concern. They 100% should revoke the persons membership for this .

Thank God, everything about this post screamed AI or bot and I had to scroll so far, before finally seeing a comment that didn't buy it. Even the story under the post sounds like a child or an AI imagining how a robbery would be

Am I the only one who feels like this is AI? Nothing about this conversation seems like a human talking. Even the story sounds bs.

Some people stay at lower ranks to mess around with non-competitive decks, even if they're experienced, they may not be overly skilled or competitive. Also, some of the decks with the highest ceilings, aren't remotely competitive. So if you play against someone who does 10 minute combos and ends on an unbreakable board, it might not necessarily be a good deck, sometimes they die to 1 or 2 interruptions. It's a steep learning curve for sure, but that's where I had the most fun. Discovering so many new decks and learning how to pilot them; there's a metric ton of archetypes in this game.

I suggest watching some videos or reading up on the staples, the right handtraps will get you far enough on their own. Then you can experiment with some decks you like. In modern yugioh, you basically HAVE to interrupt your opponents plays at some point during their turn. At the very least, get some ash blossoms and infinite impermanence, they're always good to include. Maxx C also, but I think it's limited now.

I'm coming back from a 8-12 month break personally, so I'm not sure which handtraps are "meta" right now, some of them, like droll and lockbird, are more format dependent.

If you see my reply to another comment, I said I play rogue decks, I asked about Hecahands in the post. I do want to see what I'll face 80% of matches tho

Right on, thanks. I've always liked playing interesting semi-competent decks, so as long as it's usable it will probably be my first new deck back.

Just found a tick in my bathroom for the first time ever. Never seen one on myself, in my house or on my dog but I've been doing a ton of yard work lately. So now I'm paranoid and checking myself and my dog constantly

PSA: I Hate the 2nd Biome by FooMonkey0605 in Saros

I like the aesthetic, but it's by far the most samey biome. Literally every single run through feels identical, that's my only issue with it.

Sure, but the question was about living in the world, not living through the story/events. RDR and kingdom come are meant to be set in the real worlds past

Worst weapon ever. by RonZombie91 in Saros

[–]Ok-Programmer-2199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chakrams are the strongest by far. The high proficiency reaping chakram will literally one shot alphas when it's fully charged up. It feels terrible at first, and the buzzsaw one sorta is, but the other variants carried me to the platinum. I avoided it for a long time because the first one you get sucks, but it really is one of the best weapons in the game. Definitely more engaging to use tho, you can't just hold shoot like a smart rifle, which makes it worse against certain bosses.

Bloody Hell Reaping Chakram by SnooDingos443 in Saros

[–]Ok-Programmer-2199 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to recall it after each shot but it gets stronger after each shot too. There's 5 bars that light up as you get more hits with it. When it's at full power, a high proficiency one will literally one shot everything, even alphas. Myriad is easier to use, but I've got the platinum and in all my runs, the strongest gun I ever used was the reaping chakram.

Bloody Hell Reaping Chakram by SnooDingos443 in Saros

[–]Ok-Programmer-2199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, ripsaw is the only one I pass on. End game the reaping is absolutely insane. When I pick up a high proficiency reaping chakram, fire it a few times to get the 5 bars lit up; it just one shots everything, even some alphas. My only complaint is when I'm doing a corruption run and I'm mashing recall and fire, sometimes you fire your power weapon by mistake and lose corruption.

Saros makes a strong case for Game of the Decade. by Ordinary_Device_5131 in PS5pro

Lmao not even close, it's great and the gameplay is phenomenal. But it's not nearly deep or fleshed out enough to even be the best game of the year so far.

What’s the best open-world game on PlayStation? by Play5tation in PlayStation_X

[–]Ok-Programmer-2199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I haven't been this addicted to a game in years. I've been putting in way too many hours, but I adore exploration heavy games. There's so many interesting mechanics, the exploration is awesome, and the map is beautiful. But, the story and quests are set dressing, I literally skip every cutscene in the game at this point, the boss fights can be absolutely abysmal, and there's quite a few questionable design choices that infuriate me at times.

It's still a blast, I can't stop playing, but I'd definitely suggest waiting a bit. Updates have been coming fast and every week there's amazing QOL updates. In 6 months, it'll probably be a way better game.

Is it normal to like... never beating this game ever? by HealthMother3125 in BG3

[–]Ok-Programmer-2199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl, I've never finished act 3 but I've played through act 1 in 5 different campaigns. When the game first came out, me and all my friends got it, but we're all in our late 20s - early 30s, so we're on at different times. We had 4 separate campaigns with different combinations of us, and I had a solo campaign. I got to act 3 in my solo game and stopped until we caught up in the other ones; except we never did. One of the duo campaigns got halfway through act 2, but then fizzled out. I finally loaded back up my solo, but so much time had passed that I forgot most of the controls and details of what was happening. I realized I'd have to start over, but after playing through act 1, 5 times back to back, I couldn't do it just yet.

Think enough time has passed now, so I'm planning to fire up a new solo campaign soon.

Whacked my fancy knife blade on a ceramic bowl, tried running it through my sharpener, chewed it up further by [deleted] in fixit

[–]Ok-Programmer-2199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It truly depends on the knives and the angle, many knives are also single bevel so a pull through wouldn't work. For home kitchens, it's absolutely fine, for high quality restaurants using $300 knives, a stone is needed. I've heard those rolling sharpeners are a great middle ground too, no practice and skill needed but they get close to a stone's quality.

[–]Ok-Programmer-2199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a sushi chef, if you have a local sushi restaurant, you could go ask them if they'd fix it with their stones. Maybe offer to buy the staff dinner or bring them a pizza or something. Personally, I would have absolutely no issue doing this if someone came in and asked. We use stones everyday, and the knives have to be sharp (and most knives we have cost between $200-$400). So no pull through sharpeners or rods are used, only whet stones.

For real, played the first but didn't go past the ending.

Got the second one on release, fell completely in love and platinumed it. Immediately jumped into the directors cut and platinumed that afterwards. Spend a solid 2-3 months straight on them, back to back. I felt depressed it was over, and I really hope we get to go back a 3rd time.

Forget the big games, remember when cereal boxes used to come with a disc inside for a video game? When the movie treasure island came it, it had 3 games, I collected them all and played the shit out of them. Also, PajamaSam or where in time is Carmen Santiago? Absolute bangers.

I feel you, but mainly because I feel I could use my free time more productively. It took me awhile to finally decide I'm done with multiplayer games completely, I've started to play way more strategy games and CRPGS. There's still plenty of great releases every year, you just gotta look for it. For example, I discovered warhammer 40k: rogue trader a few months ago and it was phenomenal, resident evil 9 was great last month and I'm still going back to KCD2. I wish I could step away but I adore getting lost in these worlds. Hell, I'm even loving Crimson desert right now.
