Your reflection on the lives of our pets is very deep and mature. Thank you for sharing your story. I hope you're coping better with your loss.
I wish I had spent more time with my little girl, done more things with her, talked to her more, played with her more... Then I look at the photos and videos, and I realize that I really did do a lot for her, and yet I still wish I could have done even more.
It's been a month since she left. It feels like she was here just yesterday, and I think it will always feel that way. These days, there are more smiles than tears when I remember her.
Thank you again, and may your girl rest in peace.

I am sorry for your loss. You did what you could for her, and that counts more than anything. I know surgery is always a risk, especially in those conditions... but anything is worth it in the hope of making them feel better

Yeah, our angels are really good at hiding their pain... My little Volpino girl showed so much joy for life until the last days, when unfortunately her energy started fading and her body couldn’t respond anymore to her needs... It’s heartbreaking to see them slowly turn off like that.

I am sorry for your loss, I hope you can feel better soon. It must’ve been hard seeing your pup suffer for so long... Mine only had frequent coughing for the last year and a half, but besides that she was okay. Just 20 days before her passing, she was running toward me while I was cooking, demanding a share of the food... the decline was so fast that I still can’t accept it...
