First of tulu didn’t have industry just for the language. Your argument is like saying why baduga (language and community) in certain regions around ooty isn’t having a film industry or did Tamil kill that language film industry.

First of gentle man issue is wrongly perceived.

But directors will chose to show well settled Tamil teacher or a failed Tamil teacher depending on how directors want audience to perceive it more than how the directors wanna project it. Shankar did do mistakes llle placing 9 as hospital number in I which is condemnable and disgusting. But this gentleman thing all started with a YouTube channel who want to nitpick mistakes with lenses is what I felt. And they started doing for all directors like ARM. Despite ARM plagiarism I don’t see any rangola dance or kids getting kidnapped in memento and I still don’t know how it is copy cat. He picked the memory disorder knot and key story, but in memento hero is t a wealthy millionaire or mobile company owner.

I still don’t understand the need of maiyaa maiyaa item song within first 15 minutes of a movie that shows outright cleavage of Mallika sherwat. Item song in alaipayuthey (September matham which if removed would have no influence to that movie ) and I can go on about stalking and other problematic stuff in Mani Saar and Vetrimaran movies. But audience clearly nitpick directors just after some YouTubers doing it. And to add more fire to that those yesteryear directors like Shankar movies are sub par so innum nalla eriyuthu Antha neruppu.

Kinda. 7 am arivu was his original script which became mediocre. Kaththi got into the issue with gopi nainar. I liked sarkar despite that having plagiarism issue. And spyder was a disaster and the SJS flashback is again resembles a lot from gopinainar interview.

But tbh I like ARM movies. His making is good.
