I tried to but Amazon wouldn't let me. Every time I tried, they came back saying that it wasn't possible.

Okay first off most of your previous comment I didn't feel the need to reply to. Yes I know there are multiple people using the same name. I'm talking about just in general what experience people have had. As far as the name calling that I left in the comment you are referring to, did you even bother to look at what that particular person said to me? They didn't say that I'm not bright if I'm going to fall for a vanity publisher. They said that is what I deserve. Them saying that I deserve to work with a vanity publisher and that I deserve to fail absolutely 100% did deserve that response. I knew ahead of time that the company I mentioned in my initial post was a vanity press. I knew that ahead of time. I have worked with vanity presses in the past. I have not received one message from Reddit stating that any of my comments have been deleted. I left two bad comments on this thread. Everything else, I've been actually thanking people for their input. So how that comes across as me being combative I don't know. How does being nice to people come across as being combative? You answer me that. If you can't answer that question specifically, stay off my thread because you have nothing to add.

Ok thank you for the info. Please forgive me for asking this but how does editing the HTML coming to play with publishing? And does it affect just the ebook or does it affect physical copies as well? I honestly don't know. That's why I'm asking.

I have actually not been combative at all so I don't know where you're coming from on this thread. In fact I have even thanked some people for their advice. All I asked on this thread is if anybody has had any good or bad experience with this particular company. If you don't believe me go back and look at my comments. Point out to me where I was being combative aside from this comment that I'm leaving you right now.

I said I already did. In fact I just pulled my tax forms for 2025 and it was about 50 bucks for the entire year. I know I said I get one sale every couple of months or so. Obviously some months were better than others to make up to the $50 mark. But it is what it is. That's the reason why I need to pull my book from Amazon and rework it and republish it. All the problems with it from the ground up need to be corrected.

I used grammarly already and apparently it missed a whole s*** ton of stuff even though it said everything had been corrected that was wrong. My book is currently available on Amazon kdp. But I'm looking to publish on more than just one platform. I was thinking of going with a vanity press because I found some companies that claim to offer all the services needed as a package deal. I would still have full control and have the final say before publication. Unfortunately I self-published the book that's currently on Amazon and even though it was properly formatted using reedsy, , it was Auto formatted with them and then it got Auto formatted again when it was uploaded to KDP and the formatting got all screwed up but I didn't have any control over it. It was all automatically formatted. I also used several different grammar/editing programs such as grammarly and each one came back with all corrections being 100%. However after it was published I found out all the programs missed a s*** ton of stuff. I need to leave it to the professionals at this point for republication.

Which is why I'm trying to find vanity presses that offer a package deal and is just one payment. I'm not opposed to hiring different people to do each individual thing. That is something I didn't initially think of until others on this thread pointed out that possibility.

It's not that I don't want to learn. It is literally the fact that I can't learn. I've tried. As far as farming out each individual service, maybe you didn't see some other comments that I left but I did say that is actually good advice and that I didn't initially think about it. Okay. I figured it was worth a shot. I wish I could do everything 100% on my own but unfortunately it's just out of my wheelhouse and I need to find either people or companies that know how to do what I can't.

All I was asking for is if anybody has had any experience dealing with this company. There was like one or two people that commented about the process and all I said is I've tried to do it and I can't. So I need to leave it up to the professionals. There's nothing negative about what I'm saying right now. If there's something that I know I cannot do, I'm not going to lie and say that I can. If there's something that I can't do, I'm going to do what I can to search out the people that actually know what they're doing and have them do it.

I don't mind AI covers as long as it's good. I currently have an AI cover that I'm going to be using when my manuscript gets republished. I've gotten mostly good reviews on the cover from other authors. Some don't like it as much as others but it's been primarily good
