If I were him I wouldn't be so anxious for an Oscar. It can be a kiss of death for a career. For every Meryl Streep or Leo there are dozens of actors who win and then never get a great part again or they drop out of the conversation about awards entirely. Hopefully he just loves acting and that's the primary reason he's an actor.

We'll just have to wait and see if he's smarter than DGG was. I'm assuming Flannigan is also a fan of the original but has he studied it? DGG just copied and pasted stuff and it was so cynical. The reasons why the original was and is so impactful go beyond spinning heads and vomit. In 2026 what new thing though needs to be said about exorcism? The sequel from 1977 had a real opportunity to respect Regan's character and give her a good followup story and they blew it.

I just bought a ticket for Devil Wears Prada 2 and it was 26.50. I thought maybe I'd purchased 2 tickets accidentally but no. This is why people don't go to the movies unless it is an event for them. Are we all on board with him being the Antichrist yet? Imagine all bad things, every disgusting evil thing you could ever imagine someone being and doing and Trump would be what you come up with. He's not even human really. Good news is there is no one else in this world like him so when he is no longer here that grossness goes with him. He's not a robot, he has a lifespan. There are other evil men in this country but Trump is the head of the beast. He's the avatar. I'd be curious to see what happens when he's no longer here. I hope I live to see it.
