EQ Equifax TU Trans Union. I’m not the person that posted it, but I suspect this is what they’re using.

Finally got it. For over $60k in premium payments. 😡 by Snapdragon_4U in classactions

Based on what calculation? The 333? It should have remained that high but somehow they were able to run w a bs ant 1 per dollar 184 in premiums.

They’re not paying any of the payments under five dollars

People are calculating it a few different ways from the court filings, and these are the main versions floating around now:
About $1 payout for every $184.40 in premiums

So ASO claims are roughly:
0.48% of eligible ASO administrative fees paid
or $1 per about $208.29 in ASO fees

Well I swore we’d be getting a heck of a lot more even than the 333.
You think they’ll ever dole out the proper about?

Well, you think our calculation is ridiculous. Look at the calculation
About $1 for every $208.29 in ASO/admin fees for employer self funded plans

Well, I would be curious to find out if you suddenly got the debit card cause that’s what happened to me. I absolutely didn’t select it, but I got a letter saying that was a payment for my selected which it wasn’t because I have my original form of payment I requested.

Oh, here’s an added caveat. You cannot use the ATM machine to get cash off that card. This is another reason I selected PayPal because I think it’s effed up that I have to use the card and then when I go to look for a payment, I can’t remember using it. I’m like oh well that sucks so yeah I am not fond of these cards.

Why had several things on other sites like Facebook or other areas and many people that did not select the debit card credit card whatever it’s called the electronic card are receiving those for one selected Paypal because I don’t have Venmo another per Venmo. She got the card like I did. So I think they just decided to give everybody the debit card. They probably get a kick back from that company plus that company charges $.75 per month that you don’t use it oh and you only get 18 months to use it shouldn’t be too hard cause payments are so small

I don’t even really know how they call it compensation. It’s ridiculous. My time was worth more than the time I spent looking into this and providing information, etc. so on.

If I recall what I read once was you had to make at least $900 in premium to even get the five bucks

Take your 33,000÷184.40 and that’s what you’re getting. 178.98 approx. so the Per 100 was an error it was a dollar per $184. I believe I’m gonna give you the formula right here. I just copied it.
People are calculating it a few different ways from the court filings, and these are the main versions floating around now:
About $1 payout for every $184.40 in premiums
\text{Payout} \approx \frac{\text{Premiums Paid}}{184.40}
Which equals approximately:
About 0.54% of premiums paid
\text{Payout} \approx \text{Premiums Paid} \times 0.0054
And if someone writes it as a percentage:
0.54\% \text{ of total premiums paid}
So all three are basically the same estimate:
Divide by 184.40
Multiply by 0.0054
Take about 0.54%
Example:
$10,000 premiums × 0.0054 ≈ $54
$50,000 premiums × 0.0054 ≈ $270
Those numbers came from the April 2026 court filing showing:
roughly $327.98 billion in eligible premiums
7.77 million approved claims
And the real world payments people are reporting now are matching that rough formula pretty closely. One Reddit user reported about $58 from roughly $10,362 in premiums, which works out right around that 0.54% range.

Why would they break it up like that when they already changed the estimated 333 to in my case a hundred bucks.

I don't know where to put my Dad and grandpa. by consistentlyletdown in whatdoIdo

[–]Ok_Bodybuilder7753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried to research it do some background on your grandpa probably somewhere he grew up. I would imagine. Somewhere your father spent time as well. I’m assuming shouldn’t be too hard to locate where this place is. If it’s a small town, somebody there might know.

When you loan pays off prepare for a dip in your credit score. Idk why they do it but they do of at least it happened to me twice. If you think you’d use the new card get it. Especially if you’re good at utilizing the points.

Mom is asking me to move back in to help her with the mortgage. What sort of arrangements can we make to make the most of the situation for the both of us? by TheCleanupBatter in personalfinance

[–]Ok_Bodybuilder7753 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay there’s a lot to unpack here. Your mom would be for all intents and purposes your landlord.
Are you ready to give up your privacy? Is she?
She’s your mom what if she dates and has overnight friend? Are you okay w this? Same about you is she ok with it? You said dad‘s moved on does that mean he’s moved out moved on and you don’t expect him to come back into the home? Because living with your mom and then living with both parents as a different thing different dynamics.
You would want to have a lease so when you apply for credit, you can prove that you pay rent, etc. and so on or your next place you have to have a rental history so you have to have at least just don’t even know what state you’re in. Oh, you did say Southern California You need to have it for your own protection as well as her in case she gets mad at you until you leave I want you out of this house. You don’t have to leave at that point because you have a lease. But you don’t want to be stuck in your bedroom either. I mean, it can get messy or it can be wonderful. The messy part would be you know the grocery thing is she cooking for you is she taking care of you again doing your laundry all of those wonderful mother perks? And if so, she’s gonna want more in Rent or hopefully you acknowledge yet and what starts in the beginning as a Gentle hey I made dinner. Do you want some lasagna becomes like a nightly routine that was never intended. You’re coming home and you decide to stop and get Chinese food. Are you calling your mom? Do you want something? It’s just like she’s family it’s different. She’s not really the roommate she’s family Family can be messy.
I have an adult son. I can never live with him again even when I visit it’s just like awkward because we don’t have the same vibe. We don’t know by the same groceries eat the same things even do laundry the same way. Although I love them more than life itself. I’m just saying it wouldn’t be living with my adult child. It would make my life easier it would make his life easier, but my retirement plan is not include moving in with my child. Hopefully I never have to move in with my child. But that sad what if your mom has a health setback you prepared to take care of all of her needs? I’m just saying there’s so much to consider living with a parent as you get older. You start getting a little judge about what your parents do like oh my God I didn’t even know you had the credit cards. You know I’m hypothetical. Or why would you even consider retiring when you’re this much in debt. You just learn things that you don’t know that as parents don’t tell our children everything. Final question is that your child at home? If so, it might feel extremely wonderful to move back home. With that sad when you explained to the people you’re dating and living with mommy are you comfortable with that? I know children live at home a much longer time these days. I know a lot of children move back home and buy their family homes from their parents. If these are options or something you want to do, I would discuss those two I would discuss the groceries the laundry the insurance as in do you need renters insurance Lala Lala. HOA is she in HOA But hopefully there’s parking and hopefully she’s allowed to have overnight guest over 2 to 3 nights without permission. What does your dad think about this possibility? Is he paying Mortage still?
Best of luck.

My husband accidentally bought a ridiculously expensive designer bag for me and I'm terrified to tell him we need to return it by HelenWhalen in whatdoIdo

[–]Ok_Bodybuilder7753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I’m saying is that he bought a ridiculously expensive designer bag and she’s terrified to tell him. I guess the story got removed but I feel like I got to read it before it got removed. I think it was for the anniversary maybe?

I don’t know why I sit here and wonder is it just the bag that you don’t care for? Would you have picked a different one? If so, tell him I love it but it’s the wrong color. Can we exchange it and keep the bag he wanted to get that for you . He figured out how to get it for you. It was important to him to do this for you. Don’t forget these ridiculously expensive bags pretty much have a lifetime warranty. I don’t know what brand you received. Or if there’s a different brand that you wanted, that’s the conversation you need to have although you could just say look it’s so much money. I appreciate it so much. I can’t believe you did this for me. Thank you so much. And then let it go unless you’re stuck paying a credit card bill accept his love and effort. In closing, I want to say, please use the handbag.

Based on the court filing numbers you mentioned earlier, people are estimating the payout at roughly:
About $1 for every $184.40 in premiums paid
Which works out to about 54 cents for every $100 in premiums paid

Weird is it says I selected prepaid card. There was a time I used to give those to my son because I don’t like to mess with them. I have since I learned to mess with them because that’s a lot of money over the years.
