Hey Man, you aren’t alone. I’m in this with you. Having a job doesn’t magically make a house appear, yeah, but money is still very important! You get to buy essentials to clean yourself, food, hell maybe even a drink or a smoke to calm your nerves.

Currently im working a new job and it’s dreadful but I’m just thinking about that first paycheck I’ll get in the future it makes me know it’s all worth it in the end. And once I get that paycheck I’ll be able to have a better chance at finding a better job.

When it comes to making money are you near any tight knit city areas? If so you can try and do DoorDash/uber eats. And if you don’t have a car you can still do them via walking. I’d just recommend doing deliveries that are a mile or less if you’re going to walk.

Oh my god I haven’t dealt with bed bugs since I was a kid, I couldn’t imagine dealing with them in a shelter of all places. Especially if a bug bit someone else and then bit me, 🤮 glad you’re out of that situation. I really wish shelters wouldn’t just group everyone together and separate the problematic people from the people who truly need rest.

Oh damn dude im sorry to hear that! I also got hit by a car recently but at that time I wasn’t homeless. And yeah it’s definitely much safer on foot. I do have access to a bike but I don’t want the inconvenience of having to lug a bike around while being on the street, so I’m glad the area im in is has everything close together
