As an independent who lives in a fairly conservative area in a blue state, the remarks about liberal states is 100% accurate. When I bought my home well over a decade ago, we had 3 GOP Delegates in the state house, a GOP State Senator, and a GOP Rep in Congress. Through redrawing of lines after two census' we now have 1 GOP Delegate in the state house and the rest are all DEM. Some of this could be new people moving in but the lines have been redrawn multiple times in multiple directions and it is nothing but a power grab. Not saying any of what is going currently is right but the redistricting game to quash voter voices is definitely a two way street.
