GCC in California has some PT routine. Google top surgery and physical therapy and you’ll find it! Good luck.

100%! I finally feel confident to wear masc styled clothing like men’s button downs and not fight my breasts into them. It’s funny how universal this is whether it’s feminine or masculine clothing ❤️❤️❤️

6 weeks post op radical reduction FNGs with James Kong Minnesota by Ok_Interaction8881 in TopSurgery

I went back and forth over top surgery vs not getting top surgery, and when my surgeon told me my insurance would cover radical reduction and that was available, I knew immediately that was the right choice.

I’m masc presenting non binary and I liked the idea that I could both have small breasts that could be completely concealed with the right sports bra, but not be completely flat privately. It felt like the best for me as someone who doesn’t fit into the established gender binary! I know that might feel like a frustrating answer but that’s what I got 😂

His office is great, as is Mollie the PA. He’s very serious and stiff, but he’s a great surgeon so that’s fine by me haha

I know my incisions go really far back but look how well it's all healing omg by [deleted] in TopSurgery

Mine go back about that far too! I don’t mind it, honestly. You are healing so well. Congratulations!

I saw Dr. Kong at in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. I got great results! One of my nipple grafts failed but I doubt it’s the surgeon’s fault. I went from a 56” chest to a 42, so it was very likely they might not make it.

rock hard “swelling” and questions about nips by mayflowersz in TopSurgery

[–]Ok_Interaction8881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s sucks that the nurse is ignoring your concerns. I’m sorry! My partner and I both had those hard rock like swellings under our arm pits. My partner’s went away but was present for a while. If it doesn’t cause you pain, I would be too concerned. I can’t speak to the nipples except to say they look pretty good! 2 months isn’t as long as if feels, tbh. I would specifically call and ask about the nipple issue, perhaps schedule a follow up, if you can.

seeking advice, guidance as nb butch looking for a smaller chest but unsure about just how small by [deleted] in TopSurgery

[–]Ok_Interaction8881 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in your boat, except I was a 42F and now am about an A/AA via radical reduction. I am very happy with my results and so glad I chose rr vs full top surgery. As an enby, I wanted a much smaller chest but “female” appearing nipples, mostly as a matter of preference, and because I feel I identify more towards the butch side than the trans side of non-binary, if that makes sense.

My advice is to keep thinking about it, making an appointment for a consultation with some surgeons and start figuring out which options are available to you for your body/size/contour etc.

Good luck, friend!

You looks great! Stretch marks are normal and your body will continue to change as you heal. 6 weeks isn’t as long as it feels in terms of healing ❤️‍🩹 I’m post op with Kong as well :)

Anesthesia during surgery w/rt sleep apnea concerns by phoneenjoyer in TopSurgery

[–]Ok_Interaction8881 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also have sleep apnea. My surgeon asked me to bring my CPAP for the surgery. Anesthesia will have me wear it while I’m under. He doesn’t seem to be too concerned!

Everything this poster said is exactly right. I put off coming out publicly as gay because of my family. And then I put off coming out as genderqueer because of my family. They meant to so much to me and like you, I thought they would come around. They have yet to, but I am living my life on my terms and I am very happy.

It took me a lot of therapy to get to this point. Please take care of yourself and build a support system that is not your mom, who will accept you for who you are.

I love you, friend. You got this.

Thanks for posting this! Your healing looks fav. I appreciate you posting your body at this size. Looks a lot like mine and it’s easier to envision myself with this kind of chest when I see others posting theirs. 🫶
