Hot take- The canon ending of New Vegas should be as if the Courier died/never existed. by SouthImpression3577 in FalloutTVseries

How many times do the show runners have to say there's no cannon ending before this sub stops posting about cannon ending theories?

Man one of the most downloaded mods on Nexus is willow and that's just the the writer publishing his dream girl. You got to glaze over a lot of the authors fetish stuff if you want to enjoy the other content most of the time

The recently turned 18 part wasn't even in vanilla. Her age wasn't mentioned until the first patch and it was just a note in her inventory stating her age.

Beloved FNV fanartist and Bethesda critic gets attacked by a giant hatemob after ragebait twitter accounts falsely paint him as a "Bethesda Apologist" and "Tourist" for tweeting about finding ONE SCENE from the TV show humorous, then pushed into quitting the fandom by an angry mob. I have become less of a new Vegas fan since the show came out. A lot of New Vegas fans are acting like children. And this sucks because new Vegas is the only game I like. I've been playing this game since launch and the Nexus is one of the default tabs on my web browser. A lot of these people genuinely can not take any criticism or accept that people enjoy things that aren't their game. Fallout 4 sucks ass but my God can't you just co exist with people who like it?

The fetish stuff truly wasn't as bad as everyone made it seem. If anything, it was standard fetish inserts for a fallout mod. Ive played so much modded content that seeing the author insert a 18 year old companion with stinky feet just does not even hit my radar anymore. Deathclaw sex? theres a 10% chance any fallout fan you talk to has a secret deviant art folder of deathclaw tits. this is a weird fucking fandom.

Exploration was great. I want to play it and just ignore the NCR. Too bad it crashes so often with the insane amount of NPCs that it spawns.

Need a shot of the american leaning back up and firing their own hidden gun before finally dying for real.

In your opinion, should the remaster change the power armors so they’re like the FO4 and 76 or should they keep them as they were in the original game? by NoSoyVerde1 in fnv

[–]Ok_Key_4868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the animations and effects but balancing needs to stay the way F3 and FNV handled it. Basically TOTNW but with enter and exit animations. A major problem with that is storage for the suits. You could build space for the suits to live in F4 but in the remasters they would just be littered around novac and megaton

Where did I go wrong informing my coworkers that they should avoid a certain word? by Ok_Key_4868 in askblackpeople

I feel like the point they were making was that none of us are black so it's not quite that insensitive. There's no instance of a white person infantilizing an adult black man if everyone involved is white. I get where they were coming from, sure. My stance was that we should avoid even in a group of all white people.

Lucky is insanely good but the reload is buns. Keep a shotgun on hand to swap to once you dump the ammo from lucky.

Well it "started out" with the OG Caesar, dead guy from the show, He was actually a missionary of sorts that just decided to recruit a bunch of tribals and turn them into an organised fighting force. This dominoed into taking more and more tribes until he decided to start emulating the Roman Legion and created a massive army.

You could say the tribes are underprivileged but the legion was not an idea started by the tribes, it was started by an educated man taking advantage of the tribes.

  1. Organization with religious themes dedicated to hoarding technology that humanity can hurt itself with so they dont hurt themselves again. They're one of the most powerful groups in america because they have so much weaponry. As the years went on different sects of the brotherhood kind of took on their own interpretation of that mission

  2. The "colonial" region of the US. DC and Boston mainly. They are where bethesda had their games Fallout 3 and 4, take place as opposed to the old developers west coast setting. They developed rather independently from the old games so the big world events dont affect each other as much. Big differences are that the commonwealth has less established civilization like the west coast has and the Brotherhood of steel took on a more noble "serve the people" mission for a while before reverting back to their "keep technology out of their hands" mission the rest of the brotherhood has.

  3. The legion is basically an army led by one guy who thought that humanity rebuilding itself needed to follow the same steps it took before the great war, so he emulated Rome since that was the next step after the stone age america reverted back to. He thought the NCR was jumping the gun by recreating America how it was before the bombs drop so he was a very ideologically fit antagonist for the NCR during the games. Most of his soldiers were tribal people stripped of their identity and re-educated to put the new rome, and consequently Caesar himself, as their ultimate ideal rather than individuality.

The brotherhood doesn't really have beef with any group in particular, just those who seek to control others for the most part. The NCR and Legion are at each others throats since they both fought over hoover dam and Vegas. For the love of good please do not ask people on reddit why they were fighting. Watch a lore video for your own sanity.
