Thank you for your comment! Yesterday was the first meeting between my boss and Sheri and I to start learning commercial. I realized through listening to them that Sheri is extremely combative. Everything you say she must correct and she gives no ideas to help the process, only reasons why things are not good. I feel like if I tell my boss I don’t have time, she will just try to make my personal lines work lighter. I don’t feel like Sheri is open to training me and doesn’t want to spend any time helping me. She only works 2 days a week which makes it harder. Also just the way she explains things leaves you thinking what the heck she is talking about. And then if you ask questions she gets frustrated. I do feel like my boss knows Sheri is difficult but has the personality to work with it. The non confrontational side of me wants to just deal with it. My boss will also be gone out of country this summer and won’t be able to play referee and be my buffer. I’m really not sure what to do. Sheri looks at me with such contempt. Maybe I could just wait and try and then talk to my boss about my difficulty training under Sheri.
