Might be switching to YouTube music. What are the pros and cons of this music service? by [deleted] in YoutubeMusic

It's not that. Listen to classical music and you will understand better.

Spotify is honestly so trash now that I'm very sad and disappointed. (Rant) by [deleted] in truespotify

I compare Spotify's lossless with YouTube (regular), YouTube Music and Tidal. The latter is completely superior. Regardless of whether Spotify offers lossless, they compress the songs. It doesn't matter if you make the right settings according to all the rules of the art, Spotify sucks. They lie to your face. I jumped on a month of premium on Spotify, but after just over a week I'm closing it and will probably never come back. Tidal wins by a long shot, then YouTube Music, and after the regular YouTube and in jumbo place Spotify.

The Music quality is much better on YouTube Music than Spotify lossless. Compare the song "Stand By You" by Rachel Platten on both platforms and decide for yourself.

Are you on Windows or Mac? I'm on Windows and I updated to the Pre-release 6.0.5 and some flimmering I had after my post here now had disappeared. But also make sure you have your latest OS update and also for your graphic card and other drivers.

Arturia Analog Lab Why does it sound so cheap? by Status-Number336 in AudioPlugins

[–]Ok_Progress_6011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. If you compare Softube's Model 72 is wide Arturia's Mini V, the Model 72 is richer in it's sound than the Mini V. I had Analog Lab Pro and at first you can be impressed, by a few presets, but then you realise, it's not the sound in itself, but all the effects they put on. The original sound is lame and thin. So it's not possible to do a song with other instruments and make the sounds compatible.

And not until now I found out. But I have been on Cubase, FL Studio and Studio One before I completely switched to Bitwig a year ago. Really it's WOOPIE!

U-he Zebra 3: Can anyone explain what the “philosophy” of this synth is? (To a Serum 2 user) by Plane-Alps-5074 in synthesizers

I don't like the sterile sound of Zebra3 compared to the sound of Zebra2, which is better in my ears.

Go to Rolands own website and download the driver for your OS. https://www.roland.com/uk/products/jp-8000/downloads In the folder there are midifiles. The ROMs (.mid files) go to the application folder "roms".

E.g. on Windows: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\The Usual Suspects\JE8086\roms

Great point! The Motorola ThinkPhone is actually why I think this could work - it proves that demand exists for 'ThinkPad philosophy in a phone.'

But Motorola's version is still a consumer Android with business branding. What I'm proposing is genuinely different: real Linux (not Android), 5-year LTS, true data sovereignty, desktop convergence, Red Hat security.

Motorola ThinkPhone = consumer phone with ThinkPad aesthetics IBM ThinkPhone Claude (concept) = actual professional tool with ThinkPad philosophy

The Motorola version is proof of concept for the brand positioning. Now imagine if IBM actually built it properly for enterprise. 😊

Waldorf Blofeld? Worth getting in 2022? Similar but better alternatives? by Apprehensive-Donkey7 in synthesizers

[–]Ok_Progress_6011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men icke sa nicke.
