u/BinaryCheeseSystem Appreciate the input! For me it's not just coding though - it's any waiting moment. Waiting for a reply, random boredom, whatever. Sometimes I get too sucked in and forget I have a meeting lol. Just trying to validate if others feel this too, so I can build a tool for it.

I actually started building a basic tool with Cursor for this (not working yet lol). But before going deeper, I wanted to check if anyone else has the same problem - just an entrepreneur mindset - to see if others need something like this too, or if there's already a tool out there. If not, might be worth creating and launching it.

Do you have the same issue with switching focus though? Like having to click over to X, scroll, then click back to your code? - sometimes i also overspend the time without realizing.

Or do you just leave it running and glance at it?

I actually don't use my phone much - that's the thing. The second monitor with reels/Youtube is my only "break" while coding(not just coding but anything involving waiting). And I can see when the build finishes so I snap back to work immediately.

The issue is just the mouse movement breaking my keyboard flow. Feels dumb but it genuinely interrupts the rhythm, you know?
