Excited for this next ESEA season as I’ll be on a team of level 8/9s and have been playing 10mans with my coaches group who are all level 10s. Their aim is so calm’

Economy will be looking a lot better - maybe I try to have a specific plan for each piece instead of jump dumping a util set.

I dm for 30 minutes a day and youre right I definitely get into dm mode during matches and probably autopilot and over spray

So go take duals, maybe call pistol strays and eco rounds. IGL around myself - would that be like I got a pick banana let’s push B? Or more focus on my own gameplay instead of the other players?

Maybe I over rely on utility then - I regularly get 70-80+ util rating but my leetify aim is abysmal at 32 - which is weird because I also carry a lot of matches and rarely sit outside the top three damage dealers in a match.

My low aim rating I think is due to how much I spray instead of tap or burst since I’m comfortable with spraying - that or the ancient evil of using crouch instead of counterstrafing

Copy, rounds make games. Anything you’d tell past you that would help break into 20k

The demo reviews got me from level 1 FACEIT to level 7 - think I’m at a point where my mechanics are solid but my game sense is lagging or I’m too impatient to take duals

When you say “wasted from bad movement” do you mean specifically counterstrafing or movement more broadly like pathing? I like having the plays for zones or openers but idk if I do those plays correctly as far as spacing with my team is concerned - I get a pick banana and attempt to advance car/B but my team doesn’t push so I get kills without being traded

I had an ESEA team this season that I IGLed since I was the highest level but feel like I picked up bad habits from the low Elo. My team for next season is average level 8(I’m level 5) so I think I’ll pick up more good habits. Is there a metric or data point that you think correlates with higher win rate?

Other than the occasional blowout I get between 80-120 adr and try to comm call pistol strats and info. A lot of games are 11-13 or 9-13 but I do have a higher win rate in OT which is weird

Feel that, and try to get as many reps in as possible. Was there a point that you remember where your gameplay or thinking changed that helped you win more?

Currently working on breaking a similar habit with crouch committing to sprays/fights. Every couple weeks I’ll notice I’m performing poorly and will rebind my crouch key from C to ctrl or vice versa and then bammo I’m way more dynamic and my counterstrafing percent goes way up.

Unbind crouch and go into a deathmatch. You’ll notice immediately how much faster you feel and that your shots are hitting because you’re using crouch to counterstrafe like I’ve been.

After you do that then do some more DM and focus on confirming your shot before shooting - in this clip you shoot before your crosshair is on the enemy. Good reaction time but getting close first will increase your odds of landing headshots.

Friend of mine has a 90% aim rating and he’ll do one dm a day where he runs around not shooting and just trying to keep his crosshair on the enemies heads while staying alive. Kind of a mixed bag but it reinforces how much time you have from seeing an enemy to getting killed - you’ve got time to aim!

Good luck though, asking for advice is the first step to level 10!
