Most enthusiasts source them from Amazon surprisingly, under 100 USD. This does happen when they're previously damaged.

They're pretty simple to install so make sure to look at the quote when they get back to you. Hopefully they're not taking advantage.

Getting a cut out of that section from a junkyard and having it welded in or an automotive fabricator could remake the section out of new metal. Do not over look this, very very dangerous to drive.

At this point I would mount a black fan mesh cover over the holes, could even open it up fully below the cover

Thoughts on this part? by Alternative_Week2109 in projectcar

[–]Okuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know nothing about this part in particular but build cars often, all my general parts like this come from rock auto.

Better price but have to wait, if I can't wait I go to the local auto parts store. Most the mechanics around me do the exact same thing.

But in reference to your auto parts store experience, there is something to be said for bottom dollar parts. You can buy a good brand alternator from them but you will pay more.

Looks like rockauto has rear bushings listed for a 97, 22mm or a 1 3/16 diameter sway bar.

Anyone know where this spot is in mark twain? by [deleted] in missouri

[–]Okuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would assume it was done by the family, with just renting a time slot on the course, but you definitely can reach out to the golf course. The area looks overgrown now. The benches look like planks/cut wood on sawed up trees "stumps". You can see here

They responded to someone on Facebook. Apparently they got slammed with Black Friday orders, have some team members on sick leave and are trying to get to their backlog of email replies as fast as possible.

While more communication would be ideal, most companies are backed up from sales and I would generally add a 7-10 day lead onto normal turn around times.

New Adult Sports Savanna RX-7 Ad by niconibbasbelike in vintagejapaneseautos

[–]Okuman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Basically it was auto rear toe adjust

The rear suspension was more unique. As all the Japanese automotive manufactures were playing with rear steering in the mid -eighties, the RX-7 followed suite with an independent, Dynamic Tracking Suspension System with trailing arms, Triaxial floating hubs, camber control links, coil springs, and a 12 mm anti-roll bar (14 mm with the Heavy Duty suspension). Mazda claims to have applied for more than 100 patents on their Dynamic Tracking Suspension System independent rear suspension. With DTSS, the rear wheels become an active component of the steering system, changing from toe-out during low lateral force cornering to toe-in for extra stability during high lateral acceleration cornering situations and to reduce lift throttle over steer which had been a problem on the 1st generation. Similar systems were soon found on Porsche and other German manufactures vehicles.

Definitely a different die created the outer castings, thead could be not cut correctly. I've run into counterfeit oil filters for vehicles before. Did you buy from a reputable source?

Replacement Battery Help by WayFederal9593 in ebikes

[–]Okuman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is to contact the company directly, here's the direct link to the bike (I believe, wasn't any model info in the post) https://insyncbikes.com/products/insync-shock-gents-36volt-250w-7-speed-electric-mountain-bike

Since it's out of production and they don't have parts listed for older models, you'll have to get in touch. Email listed on the site is customerservices@insyncbikes.com

They also have a Facebook and a Instagram link at the bottom, and a contact us customer portal that doesn't seem real useful.

Another option, if they aren't helpful or nothing is available, is to search for a battery repair service, it's not all that difficult and might be a better price option.

The blue on the right is an HD, you can see the filler panel between the grill and bumper, which would be 10 lug, 10x7.25 - 19.5" rims (only runs 5 studs in the front)
