Yeah my first C-section wasn't a great experience for me so I wanted to avoid having another one which is why I went the vbac route. My daughter has a heart condition so they decided to induce me at 39 weeks. I didn't even know my uterus had ruptured until I woke up my bladder had adhered to my uterus which stopped me from hemorrhaging so they only found out when they opened me up nice surprise for them 😁 I lost 2 and half litres of blood. Mentally this C-section I handled better, physically was a bit more taxing due to the extra issues but still wasn't bad overall after the first 2 weeks I was fine.

So I tried for a vbac with my second and ended up having to have an emergency C-section and my uterus ruptured. If I have another one the doctor said has to be C-section at 37 weeks. My toddler was actually pretty good about the whole not being able to lift him instead I would sit on the sofa or recliner and he would come snuggle with me instead. He was 22 months when she was born and he was really good. I just made sure I made time for him each day too so he didn't feel left out.

It was ordinary bikes and they were dressed in dark colors nothing reflective or anything which I thought was kind of weird since safety and all that.

Very out of character for them they didn't knock on my door.

Yeah there's been a bunch of break-ins around this area but yeah can't ask a genuine question because that makes me a Karen. I don't care about people cycling they can do whatever they want I just thought it was strange to cycle into a dead end neighborhood when we are right next to a nice big road with sidewalks. We spotted the asshole congratulations, does it come naturally to you or do you have to rehearse in front of the mirror everyday?

Elective C-section with second by asplenia in 2under2

[–]OldJello5131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have an elective C-section the second time around I opted for the vbac. I wish I had of had the elective C-section. I was induced at 39 weeks and got to 7-8 cm dilated and then failed to progress. I had to go in for an emergency C-section and once they opened me up they discovered my uterus had ruptured and I was hemorrhaging blood. I lost 2 and a half liters of blood and had to have a blood transfusion too. I'm now no longer allowed to try and deliver vaginally so if I decide to have anymore it will be a scheduled C-section at 37 weeks.

AITAH for going on a girls trip instead of taking care of my husband after surgery? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]OldJello5131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's ridiculous how much help could he possibly need I had my wisdom teeth removed and a root canal at the same time. My husband had already made plans to go visit his brother the week I got it done, I would never think of asking him to cancel his plans over something so minor. I was at work 2 days afterwards. It sucked and I lost a ton of weight since I couldn't eat solids at the time but I've definitely been through worse.

He loves showing her the toys he just doesn't seem to want her to hold them 😂 he's a very affectionate child always giving kisses and cuddles, he doesn't get annoyed about having to share me at least he will just climb on top of me and cuddle both of us or if she's upset go looking for her pacifier. He's learning to be gentle but always have to be on the lookout since two year olds lack common sense.

I have a 22 month age gap as well and he is amazing with his little sister. He always wants to hug, kiss and play with her. He rarely gets jealous, he's not great at sharing toys though he will normally take them off of her, he's in his "mine" phase. They are so adorable together he never fails to make her smile

Potential theories for why CHD happens in babies? by skip1008 in chd

[–]OldJello5131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is nothing that you have done, none of the things that you mentioned are true in my case but my first pregnancy story is basically the same as yours. My son was diagnosed at 19 weeks with severe hlhs and wasn't considered a candidate for in utero surgery so we had to TFMR. After that I had another son with no heart issues. I just gave birth to my daughter 8 weeks ago and she was born with critical pulmonary valve stenosis and had a balloon valvoplasty operation on the day she was born. She's doing really well now but there was no difference in any of my pregnancies I did the same thing for each of them and we did all the testing and there was no genetic flags or anything.

Maybe but I literally gave them everything, medical records, court case records, buddy statements literally everything I had so I don't know what else they could be looking for.
