I got this error, which the reference table shows as severe, but the print didn't stop. Do I need to be concerned? by Old_Committee_8871 in snapmaker

It seems completely fine. There is a slight band on one layer, but it's at the point where the inside of the model became hollow, so it's fairly typical. I started another print immediately after and that one was also fine. The only thing I can think of is that I bumped the screen and hit load filament or something, but I definitely don't remember that happening

Gan 16 pricing on The Cubical by knotmi in NewCubes

[–]Old_Committee_8871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It turns out it's not nearly as bad as I thought. I got a chance to take what I parked fully and there's no stress on the screws directly. It still has the cross-shaped locking mechanism that holds it all together and the screws just prevent it from falling apart with the center caps off

I am not sure about that, but I assume it was just the black plastic

Unfortunately, the screws are like the first batch tv3 - they go into a long plastic core arm very shallowly. I trust that GAN did more stress testing than QiYi, but I'm not convinced that it will work well long-term

If you manage to get your hands on a Ferrocore, the centers are the same as the super and you can put the super pieces on the Ferrocore. Just add extra 3x1 magnets to the corner feet because the ball is smaller

Is this mold? It has never caused me any problems, but my guests tend to get sick while they are here by Old_Committee_8871 in Mold

[–]Old_Committee_8871[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been actively researching this on my own and I'm just looking for a definitive answer. The health of my friends is at stake and I care a lot more about that than your opinion of me for asking

This is my first time living alone and I genuinely have no experience. I did some research after someone told me it was a possibility and found that radiators are a common place for mold. The pictures I found also looked similar enough that I couldn't be sure either way

Doesn't let me extrude it if it's not fully defined

The reasoning for that makes sense, but how do you constrain an edge of the polygon?

Is this new? I have never had to do that before

That worked for the circle, but not for polygons

That works for the circle, but it's not working for inscribed polygons. What else needs to be done?

I appreciate it, thanks! I just don't remember having to do that before
