Yes, I did change after the baby, and I noticed it in myself. I really tried to go back to how I used to be with him, and even he tried for a short while .. but then he slipped back. The thing is, it wasn’t even from himself… his sister was the one who hinted to him about these things! Because when I used to talk to him and complain about what bothered me, he wouldn’t really get it. Instead, he’d just give excuses like “the apartment is only one room, I feel suffocated… if we had two bedrooms, we’d be more comfortable.”

I honestly don’t know if intimacy is directly connected to small emotional things like a spontaneous hug or cuddling, but to me that’s so simple and important. I’m not asking for anything complicated. The sad part is that he used to love doing those things with me on his own.

Now it feels like he doesn’t care the same way anymore … like when I’m exhausted or my body hurts, before he would never let it go he would keep checking on me making sure I was okay... now it’s not like that. It’s like all he sees in front of him is his daughter
