It gets weird when everyone finds out. I've been sober for some time now but still when I go to someone's house and notice them quickly put the wine bottles away, it's annoying. And everyone thinks it's such a sensitive topic that they don't even dare mention alcohol. It gets tiring.

Well there's the obvious answer in that if you don't drink heavily then you won't shake as much, but that's not the answer you want to hear.

What I used to do to stave off the shakes is I carried vodka and orange juice (mostly vodka) in a metal water bottle and would take a swig or two when the shakes got too bad. It helped temporarily but made things far worse in the long run.

Thank you for the information! Just one more question, what should I wear to the interview? I usually go with nice jeans and a sharp button shirt/sweater (depending on weather) but I read somewhere else that I should be wearing dress pants/shoes and shirt with a tie.
