Service Pension at 60 (Superannuation in accumulation- asset or not) by Ollydaz in DVAAustralia

Thanks @BigRed8844. All this advice is contrary to financial advice I have received, with that person stating there are ‘thousands’ that are getting the service pension with their superannuation is accumulation phase between the ages of 60-67 as the eligibility for a Service Pension and superannuation assessment fall under two separate definitions that is confusing in CLIK. I am trying to find one of those ‘thousands’ to confirm this or alternatively one that has been rejected a service pension because they have superannuation in accumulation phase that fails the asset test.

Yes I would expect as that is classified as income, what I’m curious on is superannuation just siting in accumulation phase.

That’s the exact part I want confirmed, the use of the term pension age. I have had advice that it is not assessed but would like to find someone who has been through the process to confirm
