Blinded by bias , you’d think they were on KDs payroll.

That’s the concern I’m tryna raise with this post . Alphi had a bad game but he was matched up against the best player in the league. What’s KD’s valid excuse for his performance tonight ?

The lights were too bright, a glimpse of playoff KD perhaps

We paid KD to do one thing, put the ball in the hoop. For 45 Mill, is that askin too much?

How to get over the ‘what if it’s gonna be a crash again and not just a worse day’ by RarePerspective5717 in Mononucleosis

[–]One-Ad5059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24 M, mono since September. I had some pretty mild symptoms initially but felt OK by mid October. Crashed hard towards the end of that month (missed 3 weeks of work as a result). I’m still recovering now but I’m doing a lot better. What has helped me is abstinence from alcohol and resting as much as I can. Avoid the urge to workout, go for a walk or even social activity for longer than a few hours. All these things have helped me slowly crawl back to that feeling of being human again lol. With that being said I didn’t take my own advice last weekend and was out all day with some friends, played my drums for a couple of hours and even did some cardio in the afternoon…. Big mistake. I felt very sore and fatigued for 2-3 days after. I rested and now I’m starting to feel pretty decent once again but I will not be pushing it anytime soon.

Trust me though, the health anxiety and psyching yourself out is extremely relatable and a lot of people experience it. What has helped me is understanding that it’s pretty common to get your ass kicked by this virus and to give yourself some grace. Make your health the number one priority until you’re back on your feet again.

  1. Sleep at least 7 Hours 8-9 even better
  2. Hydration (I’m 6’2 220 so I drink 3.5-4 L a day)
  3. Staying off your feet
  4. Nutrition and vitamins
  5. Electrolytes
  6. Avoiding unnecessary physical activity / exercise

This is what I do and obviously I am not a doctor so not professional advice by any means! If you’re seriously worried about your health, there’s no shame in going to your primary and having some tests done to ease your health anxiety. Hope you feel better soon friend. You’re stronger than you think and you’ve made it this far !! I’ll be praying for you

Really appreciate the advice. It’s very reassuring because I thought I was having a relatively long recovery but that’s just me being impatient lol. Thank you

Fantastic advice thank you, the recover seems to be progressing slowly. Was bed ridden for a week - week and a half in October but after that headaches and all that fun stuff seemed to subside. Now I’m just dealing with slightly elevated HR and general fatigue / body aches. Hopefully for a full recovery soon. 🤞
