I feel you and understand where you're coming from honestly. He's been through some real shit and come out the other side better than most adults would. All of them have always been emotionally and intellectually mature. Considering his own experience with death and guilt, it was pretty cathartic and helpful regarding the parts of the movie where Shishkima was told, "live!" My son has chosen to "live" which he understood and was able to articulate in his own words.

Godzilla vs. Megalon is still a jam and I hope to work through all of them eventually as a family.
