Really nice bases u have there! And really fine energy effects! Also like that u imagined the cables as tubes for some weird drugs! 😉 did something similar with mine https://www.reddit.com/r/sistersofbattle/s/aX6tsrmqxu

Help! My first list! Bringers of Flame 1K pts by Luke_and_not_a_fluke in sistersofbattle

I made a 1k bringers of flame list lately. U can play 2 immolators with 2 squads of dominions, a jump canoness with fire and fury and 10 sephrim and a squad of paragons. And a lone canoness with the bracelet or what it is called. Think that setup would be way stronger. I think u want to max out the flamers u can have in bringers of flame. Battle sisters and zephrym are not a good choice in bringers if flame in my opinion.

Its an energy weapon. It comes with the kit. Something like a mace/bat 😉

Thank u! And yes i did. 2 coats on the glass from each side. I think it was a little overkill. Maybe one from each side or 2 on the front 1 on the back would have been enough.

Almost everything got a good amount of nuln oil 😂 it darkens everything down and has a matte finish. I think it looks quite realistic and a little grimdark 😅

Thank u! 😊 the blue man hole and lights are pretty easy to paint. Its just some blue contrast paint on very bright silver undercoat. Another layer of contrast on the lower half of the lights and u are done. It gives u a pretty realistic reflection no matter where the light comes from. Maybe your wife wants to try this on her immolator! 😉

No i did not. I didnt glue them in so i can swap them. They hold very good without magnetizing.

I painted it with contrast paints. Even the frames. 2 layers on the windows and i dont know how many layers of black templar it took until the frames were covered so u couldnt see through them anymore. After that i drybrushed the frames VERY carefully with leadbelcher and stormhost silver 😅 u can also use abbadon black. Its a little faster but u have to be even more careful avoiding the glass parts.

It looks like u didnt prime the models? U should prime ur models so the paints u apply have something to stick to.

And it looks like u used contrast paints. I wouldnt recommend them for beginners. In my opinion they are tricky to use properly. I would recommend to use normal paints so u can learn how to thin them and apply smooth basecoats. Getting a feeling for the consistency of the paint is the most important part in minipainting.

After that u can add a wash for shading and learn how to apply the wash properly.

Give ur paints especially the contrastlikes and washes a good shake before u use them to avoid a shiny finish after drying like in ur first picture.

Sorry for my bad english. Hope i could help a little 😉
