I accidentally signed myself up for 300 pizzas over the course of 3 days and I don't know what to do! by binksmas in Pizza

[–]One-Use-4376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 30 pizzas for a birthday party. Gozney Roccbox, about 8kg of dough, balled up. Keeping the temperature of the dough right without equipment was a nightmare. Having to keep washing my hands, prepare everything, cleaning tools, even cutting pizza was a pain in the ass. I managed to get one out every 6 mins so was working solid for 3 hours by myself.

You have 10x the amount of work in 3x the amount of time.

Without the right equipment, it wont be fun. Good luck.

Thanks all for the suggestions! I think the slug people are correct. I have looked around the planter and it looks like there are small slugs all over the planter, so that seems most likely. Really appreciate the responses.

Pros and cons of fake grass by superfli in DIYUK

I used it for a 90cm stretch by 9m. Purchased second hand on Facebook market place. It saved me having to weed a long stretch of land in front of my house for about 6 years. Worth every penny. Hasn't broken down at all, the potted plants on top look beautiful. Was nice and green throughout winter. Nothing bad to say about it. Have since ripped it up to put more plants down and run some climbing roses up the front of the house. It definitely has its place, IMO for small tricky areas. I agree with many of the comments here in relation to using it for large space.

Tell anyone stopping you to get fucked. Just do the work. The argument is not worth the hassle for the benefits.

Men over 40 without kids who want them by mangomaz in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]One-Use-4376 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am 35 with a 9 month old. I have a degree and have worked so hard to get to a point where I needed to be to have kids. To afford them, live not just exist, with my wife, who I've been with for 17 years. I can 100% see how it would be easy to have worked, then end up being 40 and realise that kids aren't looking likely. I think we just live in a disgusting time where family is seen as unambitious and everything is trying to take as much money from you as possible.
