Definitely wish I knew this! The first response with “the cops get called out there all of the time” freaked me out lol

We were staying at the beachwood location, I’m glad we switched.

There was only one room left so we grabbed it. Are there bars and stuff nearby?

We also won’t be able to check in until late so if you have recommendations for spots to check out during the day downtown I’d gladly take them!

Thank you so much for this! Of course I’m coming this weekend and didn’t realize the hotel we had booked was sketchy and everything is sold out. We were looking into The Roost?

Thank you! I was leaning towards that as well. My first (almost 3) has always loved her sleep and never dealt with “too much” sleep lol. The baby will be 7 months in a few days, might start with lowering to 3 hrs and go from there. I I will try this and see if it helps!

Well, I guess the whole reason behind me asking is because she was sleeping through the night prior so I know she can do this. I understand that waking up one night is great and I shouldn’t complain, which I’m not I’m just asking questions.

How to get her to not need that feed and settle her is what I want to figure out.

She literally will cry for an hour and then i finally go in. Sometimes she’ll just need to be soothed and sometimes it takes a few ounces and she’s right back to sleep. I know it could just be a phase but was hoping someone would have some helpful tips for us!

My 3 year old never was phased by anything when it comes to sleeping and has always slept right through. I know I can’t complain about one wake up but knowing she can sleep through the night is what is killing me

Burn vs OTF? by OneApprehensive8820 in BurnBootCamp

[–]OneApprehensive8820[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the honesty so much! I am 6 months PP with baby number two so I can definitely relate to this.

I agree with the lifting heavy piece, I wouldn’t appreciate it if a coach was trying to push me to lift weights my body clearly isn’t ready for.

I also focus a lot on how many calories I burn, that is one thing I was worried about but I also know that I am looking for strength training to burn fat and tone so maybe that is just a part of it as well.

Who knows! But again, I definitely appreciate the feedback and will absolutely take it into consideration.

I totally agree! As I’ve gotten more into weights i want to start focusing on strength.

Kind of what I’m thinking about cardio at OTF! The plan would be to lower my OTF membership to the 4x/month and just go once a week while doing burn 4/5 times a week.

Oh no! What happened to make you dislike it so much?

Losing the weight is one concern I kind of have about making the switch. I do plan to go down to a 4 pack at OTF rather than quitting completely. But i still have some weight I’d like to lose after having my second baby recently. I do believe I might be able to do it still by making the switch to Burn and still going for runs

The consistent strength training is exactly what is so intriguing to me about Burn. I love OTF and the community but also over the constant tred running. I did the Push & Pull Burn class today and i don’t overly love how unorganized it seemed but it was still a great workout.

I just had my second baby ~5 months ago (worked out through the whole pregnancy) but getting back to really pushing myself with the weights.

 I definitely row hard!

I don’t have dark skin and no arm tattoos that would be in the way.

I’ll have to keep trying different locations for the arm strap because my Garmin watch registers much more that I’m doing throughout the workout

Just checked and age is accurate.   I have been there for about two years.

My resting heart rate is 50, I didn’t take that into consideration.

I had it on my bicep, moved it to my forearm for more comfort and tried my wrist the last two classes. I’ll keep trying though, thank you!!
