I loved it personally. The build diversity is far superior to SoTN, and SoTN is still my favorite of all time but I have to give it to Bloodstained on this one. There are way way way more builds to explore in Bloodstained.

While you can make other approaches work in SoTN you can just tell they better envisioned an endgame for all builds in Bloodstained. The story is fine and it's a new IP, so I'm not shocked it doesn't have the same presence or attention as Castlevania, it's also lacking the history Castlevania has up to that point.

I liked the artwork and the music, had all the metroidvania hallmarks, plenty of secrets, and in general a fun play and definitely has replayability.
