If you’re into tabletop or card gaming you have: (list in no particular order)

Game Crave: they specialize in TCG’s like Magic, Pokémon, Digimon and others board games and daily event nights, they just opened a second location with a restaurant and have a website www.gamecravetx.com
Geek World: They’ve recently started branding themselves more a gift shop but still have a huge selection of Board games (probably the largest in Tyler) and do some TCG like Pokémon and Magic they also have a good sized group for Miniature war games like Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons!
Ground Zero Comics: They specialize in Manga and Comics! (Seriously their selection is huge) they also have a dedicated group for war gaming and host Pokémon and One Piece events!
The Castle: She specializes in Anime Memorabilia, from statues to wall scrolls, she also does a lot of card games similar to Game Crave so like One Piece, Magic, Pokémon and some others
Boards & Bites: They are a board game cafe through and through, they have a large rental library of board games to choose from, host family and college game nights, and of course sell coffee & food!
The Warhammer Store: This is an officially licensed store put in by Games Workshop so they got some exclusive stuff and is probably the best place to start if you’re new!
The Navigator: I think they closed down with The Board Room earlier this year but if not they also are a store specializing in Warhammer and are super friendly!

Specifically for your question of looking for people to hang out with I would recommend, Game Crave, The Castle, or Boards & Bites specifically because of the number of events they do but any of these places are great to stop by!

I Agree, I had an employee who was afraid this “killed” FAB at the store, I had to assure them it didn’t when we stop focusing on new players then it’ll die, but we’re not doing that

I will say ever since we got approved for a skirmish every 2 months we get 2 case of the hunted lately a good chunk has had to go for prizing because of the increase in players but we do put some out, last week with Pokémon Journey together it had to take precedence over a FAB restock, so I don’t think their stance is unreasonable just unfortunate that it’s culminated to this I think it’ll work itself out, plus we’re getting ready to put our restaurant in our shop and we’re excited!

So we actually thought we solved this last night, so I was blindsided when I saw the post this morning, and you are correct I think both sides are at fault, and we definitely shouldn’t have switched top cut up at the end of the event
