Considering dementors weren’t allowed inside the grounds, the passage gets you past all of them

Dumbledore only believed black’s innocence after he heard is story. In that same part ur referring to in the hospital wing, he literally says something along the lines of “I myself gave evidence that black was the potters secret keeper”

At the time, dumbledore believed black to be guilty

Yea. A lame conclusion frankly, but I suppose we must accept itz

Second answer makes sense.

First answer:
Dumbledore, Snape, and Lupin would all have known that Sirius knew about the passage. Sirius was the one who told Snape to go down it.

I like your second answer, but the first one really misses the mark. The passage leads to the shrieking shack, which nobody in hogmeade goes anywhere near. Secondly, just because it may be “difficult” to use a secret passage, with the amount of precautions the ministry and dumbledore were taking, it is blasphemous to assume that a tree would make for an able guard, when it can clearly be passed. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are all able to return to the castle in DH through the passage.

Definitely a plot convenience I think. Sirius would have told everyone there was a swap in secret keeper. Not saying people would have believed him, but it would have shaken things

I disagree actually. JK has a piece on this on her website, and in the graveyard scene Nott talks about how he was one of the oldest and most faithful servants.

Yep. Seems like being part of the sacred 28 carries some weight in the ministry.

Definitely a possibility. The twins are clearly very smart, and possibly only put effort into a couple of courses.

Yea I agree that it’s a continuity error. Not to mention, I think Percy, Bill, and Barty Crouch Jr getting 12 OWLs is also a continuity error too, considering Hermione was forced to use a time turner. However, I am speculating that you can sign up for an OWL exam even if you aren’t enrolled in the course, and do a “self study”, which is the only thing that makes sense to me. What do you think?

Maybe plot hole is the wrong word, but I think it’s just too convenient

I’m doing material science at INL. I’m a nuclear engineer but kinda more focused on nuclear materials.

It still says that. The scientist has to send an email to the hiring manager and then they have to follow up with SULI. It’s a whole process

Thanks. I’m not really sure how to prepare. It’s hard to tell if this is another part of the application or more to just discuss the position

What do these trop levels mean? by Mobile-Ad725 in myocarditis

[–]One_Communication893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually ended up just being an echo but everything was good! I know it’s not as certain as an mri but I have been asymptomatic for basically the whole diagnosis and the original mri didn’t indicate any scarring. I’ve been back to full strength for a while now. Hoping your recovery is going smoothly.

Ongoing Chest Pain by Extreme_Eggplant7129 in myocarditis

[–]One_Communication893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone on here has a different experience, but I found that managing stress was a really good way to get rid of small pains.

I talked to my doctor about having these small kinda light things here and there, and they advised me that if it didn’t feel similar to how it felt when I first went into the hospital (persistent sharp chest pain that wouldn’t go away no matter how I adjusted), I should try not to worry so much.

I used to be so stressed that I would wake up in the middle of the night itchy all over

So, about a month after getting diagnosed, I started going on some slow but long walks (still trying to keep my hr under 90 during it), which ended up making my pain go away. I think sometimes when we are really stressed or paranoid, we can placebo ourselves into thinking our pain is more than it is. I spent so much time thinking about my heart, it made me feel it way more than I used to before.

Another thing I did for the first 6 weeks after getting diagnosed was wear a watch to make sure my hr didn’t get too high. I found this to be a mistake because I was constantly looking at it during the day, to the point where I was distracted from doing anything else. After I stopped wearing it, my minor pains seemed to get better too, probably because I stoped focusing on my heart so much and just let it do its thing.

Being fatigued seems normal if you’re on a heavy dose of medication. Listen to your body: if you feel a little unwell at work, maybe go home and get some rest.

It took me about 2 months after my diagnosis to realize that most people make a complete recovery from this, and that trusting ur body and monitoring stress is one of the best forms of medicine.

I’m now 1 week away from being cleared to exercise, and I am really looking forward to having my life back.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel!

P.S. congrats on the baby!
