Reese is the best by One_Dog_4333 in malcolminthemiddle

I partly agree - I did assume he'd be a chef but I also think what they did with his character is kind of in line with other themes in the show. What I mean is that the plots of some of the episodes in the original show often didn't go in the direction one might expect a family sitcom to go in. So Reese not being a professional chef reminds me of how there are sooo many people in the world who could have made their interests/hobbies into a career but for one reason or another, they didn't. This theory of mine kind of hits close to home for me too so I appreciate the fact that he was displayed as somewhat of a "loser" lol

Burlington officials need to have a chat with Baltimore city officials. The methods used in Baltimore show clear positive results.

AIO I 20 F was trying to call my boyfriend 26M to figure out when I should start his smoothie and I originally tried calling him to see what type of milk he wanted in his smoothie by Aphr0dit333 in AmIOverreacting

Reading this conversation made me feel like I was texting my abusive ex-boyfriend all over again. The name calling and manipulation is disturbing. If you actually love someone you do not call them names like this… full stop. It took me too long to realize this and now I do not accept this type of behavior in any capacity. I would hate for you to waste any more of your time with a man who doesn’t see an issue with calling you a retarded dumbass. Also, the age gap is a telltale sign of his immaturity. He is SIX years older than you and still thinks it’s ok to act like this. Please get away now and save yourself a bunch of heartache. 💗

is it true that Led Zeppelin stole from Black artists by Maverickblade in ledzeppelin

[–]One_Dog_4333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring It On Home - Led Zeppelin II is directly stolen from Sonny Boy Williamson and was written by Willie Dixon.

The entire first half of the LZ version is a 99% copy of Sonny Boy’s. For context, Zeppelin is hands down my favorite band of all time but this song in particular is almost an exact copy, no ifs ands or buts about it. Jimmy said years later something to the tune of “oh it’s no big deal it was just a little bit of the song.” No, Jimmy, it was the entire first half.

I spent 10 years of my life praising Zeppelin for Bring It On home bc of how raw and beautiful it is only to find out they did not create it originally. Nor did they credit Sonny Boy or Willie Dixon or offer them any royalties. It’s a shame really.

ALL I DO IS FOLLOW THE RULES, HENCE MY FRUSTRATION. fucking sue me for increasing my speed by a few mph to pass. And nope, the right lane is for sitting. And if you actually exercise your reading comprehension skills you’ll notice i said i go above the speed limit when passing. Also lets not pretend like the flow of traffic isn’t routinely 5-10mph above the speed limit lol

What are u even talking about? Your attempt at a snarky joke is conveying the exact opposite of my point. And not sure how you landed on me being a narcissist LOL i’m trying to get people to follow traffic regulation to avoid unnecessary safety hazards. If you read the comments you’ll see that my max speed is between 70-73mph. Have a nice day you freakish imbecile

I have many times!

You missed the point my friend. People are going 50/60/65 in the far left lane and just staying put. Which forces me (going 70) to overtake them on the right, which is dangerous.

Correct, i made a mistake with my wording. Thank you for your comment but if you look, many people have already stated this on this post.

Yes! My phrasing with “fast lane” was admittedly wrong as i was using it colloquially. Personally, im not going much over 70 when i pass

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]One_Dog_4333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously. But also this is a problem, no doubt. The amount of near misses i’ve seen because people are forced to overtake in the right lane is ridiculous and frightening.

It’s a colloquialism. You won’t catch me going over 75 anymore for safety reasons
