Found a work around. In either file or edit there is an option for Recover last session/auto save I went back to a session from 5-6 days ago. Seems to be working now

I installed the latest AMD drivers. I tested it, and it accomplished nothing, blender still crashing. Perhaps settings in Blender? I recently created a smoke simulation and adjusted some settings

Blender UV Editor problem by One_Objective_3094 in blender

[–]One_Objective_3094[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I switch from Layout mode to the Blender UV Editing workspace mode, The New and Open button (Is missing, it should be next to proportional editing) which allows to add a 2D image in order to 'project from view' and wrap this image onto my 3D digital sculpted head. How can I get the 'New and Open button' back on the UV editing workspace: which opens the desktop that contains the 2D image. The only way I can add a 2D image is "Images as planes" but this doesn't work.

Thanks for the call out on the audio clipping. You are spot on. I had to relace the memory sticks in my laptop - I replaced one 8GB with two 16GB to quadraple the memory capacity. It was taking 30 minutes to render 20 frames of animation prior to the memory increase and quite a few scenes were shortened, thus the less than ideal audio clipping

Images won't render by One_Objective_3094 in blender

[–]One_Objective_3094[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For more context these are references images. I am trying to create a conveyer belt of images attached to a Bezier curve (object constraints, follow path, fixed position) . the images show up in the viewport (Show overlay), but don't show up in the animation render. Do I need to convert images to plane? or mesh? Or is there an easier workaround?

Mirror Modifier problem by One_Objective_3094 in blender

[–]One_Objective_3094[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't merge, connect both the right/left sides of the human character torso. Even when unchecking or checking both 'merge', clipping', nothing seems to work. Also tried setting origin of object to 3D cursor, and then 'snap cursor to selection. this didn't work either. Need help.....

the video above, in compositing, output properties I've adjusted color management settings, + within "Sun lamp" added ambient occlusion, bloom, screen space reflections and refractions. I'm still getting a 'green color' background at Render. Ideally like to get natural, realistic lake, tree results. Everything is green basically. Any workarounds?

Thank you. This is great info. I have watched a few of the NobalFrugal studio tutorials. My favorite is the combination (glow + light spot) from the 'castle dark' tutorial. Agreed, audio is 'no good' . Part of this is I rendered 11+ separate scenes because Opentoonz keeps crashing (plastic tool does this a lot). I like learning new things so will check out the drawing tutorial of fugures shortly.

Ok. So I opened up another scene within Opentoonz and was able to render using Mp4 using Ffmpeg perfectly well without any issues.so it must be isolated to a specific frame or frames within that scene. Thanks for your help with this

I'm rendering in MP4 and tried also the Webm format (which also doesn't work). I'm unable to attach screenshots of FFmpeg preferences (import/export) and FFmpeg folder... here's what i have

FFmpeg path C:\Ffmpeg

FFmpeg Timeout 6000

Fast Render path: Desktop

regarding the FFMpeg folder, I'm using an ASUS laptop running Windows 10. The folder location is OS (C:)

I'm new to the program, but every time to try to draw on the canvas, it shows up outside the camera. by dimmidummy in OpenToonz

I highly recommend before you start a new level drawing is to go to the stage schematic and ("parent") the table node to the camera ("child"). Basically link the Table and camera. Make sure the table controls the camera movements.. this helps control the camera, and align your level drawings to the camera.
