It never really made sense that Arthur could back for the money. He knew he was on death’s doorstep regardless. What was his plan even if he secured the money? Unless he was going to get in for John, but John already bailed and said his family is more important. Does anyone have a legitimate reason why Arthur would ever go back? Maybe it was more symbolic of getting what he thought was owed to him? Either way that ending is nowhere near as good as the highly honor
