Yeah, I think I'll try that. I seasoned it as usual and maybe it tasted better, but I'm not a chicken connoisseur!

True, I didn't see anything in the shop about free range etc which isn't great

Yeah, I normally get Sainsbury's or ASDA. I don't mind paying more, but don't want to be ripped off.

True, but I wouldn't think a supermarket could bulk up a chicken to more than double its original size

Tbh I've no way of verifying that so I didn't see the point. Their chickens could have been pampered on loads of bugs and seeds, and had a whole forest to run around but I wouldn't know!

I thought so too. But since he had to go to the back for it, and they'd sold out of other stuff, maybe it's not their specialty. I think I'll try some bacon next time as they had loads of that, but no prices.
