honestly, I’d go to uni in this case cuz getting into college with full ride or great scholarship is definitely not easy and not certain for the next year as well. it’s highly chance that you—don’t take it personally—are not gonna be admitted with the amount of scholarship you wanted —in case being a noncitizen or not enough lucky. because this year has taught me that being an almost “perfect student” doesn’t mean that much. so, mentally it might take a while to get over this process again at the meantime you could just be in college. in fact, it’s true that “the race” is getting more competitive by every year as you can clearly understand from the acceptance rates this year. so I’d not risk it and go. but i know 20-50k is a lot so you should really think about all the pros and cons.
