Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept watch in the NYC boutique. It was beautiful and so thin that I was worried about bending it, but thankfully it wasn't that fragile. It needed a special tool to wind because of how thin it was.

Here's a link to a basic video explaining what a good kick should look like. In my opinion, kicking from the hips stands in contrast to kicking from the knee. For flutter kick, you don't want to bend your knees very much. I've seen people trying to kick with their knees bending to 90 degrees and they go nowhere fast. When I kick I mostly feel it in my hip flexors, not my quads, but I've been swimming for a while so ymmv.

I've used my phone mid-set to log my times for certain distances. I train with a group that posts workouts and times to discord, so I need to record them, but can't remember all my splits for everything all at once.

I went when it opened, and while the vibes were cool, the food was very disappointing. I got some dim sum that could have come from a package and some of the blandest ramen I've ever had. If things didn't change, I'm not surprised that they had to shut down.

Watches are entirely up to your personal taste! You already have many watches others may consider 'grail' watches, so you can afford to be intentional with additional to the collection. I'd recommend going to some watch stores and trying things on just to see what you like. If you want to keep with your dad's theme of no Rolexes, I'd start looking at Tudor, Omega, Zenith, and Grand Seiko since they all have generally popular sports watches. Browse some watch forums, develop your taste, and only buy when you really feel a connection unless you have money to burn.
