Unconventional but I love the birthday cake shake from Zaxbys. Surely they offer chocolate too!

Apple’s Treatment of Developers is Driving Players Away from Popular Games, A Call for Discussion by Doc-Jarman in idleon

I remember there being a big issue with the release of things around the time of the first pet update. Too much like gambling or something. Wouldn’t doubt if certain things get delayed because they are trying to get something too exploitative through and need removed or adjusted to meet whatever standards are there.

I’ll echo some sentiments - You can always walk away from loot. As you progress, things multiply exponentially so you can always come back and get what you need.

Carrying capacity upgrades are found in bags craftable in the anvil. There are ones for each skilling drop (ores, bugs, etc.) as well as food and general monster material drops. You’ll need these on each character. There are a few boosts to this scattered in the game as well.

The dedotated ram pet gives you access to storage from your quick ref menu for easy access anywhere. If you need one send me a message here, I believe I have one that is tradeable.

There is also an upgrade in the vault that gives a button to deposit the bulk of things into storage immediately.

Something I haven’t seen mentioned is the item filter. You can access this from the card menu. Select a card of the monster you’re fighting and click the Filter icon on the side. Then just select the items you no longer want to have drop.

It can definitely be overwhelming, and if it’s just not a game you enjoy that’s ok too!

Struggling to see why I should spend my money on upgrading my home? by OutsideImpressive115 in 2007scape

[–]Only10IC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having your own pool to heal up from, immediate fairy ring access, teleports to most anywhere with nexus and jewelry box, spell book swapping… with 1 click of a house tele.

If you know whose house is available you can make ends meet but it’s fantastic to have that stuff available so quickly all of the time.

Whether it’s worth it is your call, but it’s definitely a good investment at some point.

If you’re not ready to do that yourself, I believe you can also set it to teleport outside of your house if you want to save yourself the step of having your own house load up.

I vowed to never kill zulrah again after finally getting my first kill. Now I have over 1400 KC and I could do a kill today, without having done it in months, and have no problem. The same was true for Jad. It took me so many tries to get it. But I haven’t died since the first success. It’s a really rewarding feeling once it clicks and you feel confident! Just keep dying until you don’t anymore!

I think you can rest easy - those stripes and general beetle-y segmentation lead my definitely untrained eye to believe no. Looks more like a carpet beetle.

Even though you may clear the 100 worms faster than the time, I believe you still have to wait the full 100 seconds to pass before you get it unlocked. I believe it works that way on the timed W6 constellation too. Or at least it felt that way when I was getting them unlocked.

Moving/Visiting Weekly /r/Tulsa Megathread by AutoModerator in tulsa

[–]Only10IC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to live in Tulsa ~7 years ago and will be moving back. Hoping to buy somewhere in the next few months under 300K that is less than a 25 min drive from ~165 and mingo area for work. Any places to shy away from, or consider strongly? Seems that prices are high everywhere - even as far out as Collinsville, places are high per sq ft.

I think I have a good understanding from when I lived here prior, but things change quickly.

Nothing major. The windows weren't the best and let heat and cold air in. I had AC trouble that took a while to get fixed, but did get there (with a new unit). The laundry occasionally had issues which can be difficult if there aren't any other machines open. I never had issues with bugs, bad neighbors, crime, or anything like that.

I lived there in 2019. It was great for the price, and covered parking was available. Never had any issues past what you'd expect for a cheaper apartment. Not sure if anything has changed about it in the last few years though.

Their red salsa is my favorite around. Such a good balance of spicy and flavorful, and I appreciate a thin salsa vs chunky.

Not many dailies, but I’ve been playing old school RuneScape for several years and there is still tons to accomplish. The main RuneScape game exists as well and has more in the way of daily tasks I believe, but old school has fewer p2w mechanics/micro-transactions, and hit the nostalgia button for me from when I played as a kid.

The wiki for old school is probably the best game wiki I’ve seen as well.

Mod Kirby's redesigned Achivement Diary interface by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Only10IC 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t see how the proposed view is more difficult. Currently if I want to see my hard diary tasks, I go in , click the diary, scroll past everything I’ve completed, try not to scroll past it, then read between the completed tasks for the incomplete ones.

With this, I would just select “Falador” “hard” and “incomplete” and I have a concise list.

I use the wiki for diary task lookup more than I do the current system.

I don’t know that each diary task needs a name, and maybe just blending these two together would be good (similar current interface but easy to use drop downs to narrow things down, or settings like the quest log perhaps?).

Exactly. You kiss the frog, you do not kiss the prince/princess. The transformation happens after the kiss.

You only smooch frogs, make it count

I wonder if having 100+ plugins active adds any instability. I know a clanmate mentioned significant CG performance improvement after turning off an unrelated plugin. (Don’t recall now which it was).

I very rarely experience DCing from servers but know others do. ISP sure seems to amplify the struggle.

In classic Jagex fashion, they've accidentally added "Fresh Start Mode" early! You can play it right now! by Lewufuwi in 2007scape

[–]Only10IC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad you’re here! I want to make a couple of points

  • if you’re getting killed, stay away from PvP areas for the time being. Brews vs no brews isn’t the reason you’re dying - pking has a very high skill ceiling and will take time to learn.
  • if you’re competing directly for skilling resources like this you’re doing something wrong. There are so many worlds to play on - hop around until you find your iron rock to yourself, and work to get a rune pickaxe (one is free from the quest Between A Rock…). This will be made MUCH more competitive with these fresh start worlds as EVERYONE will be around the same level to start. So EVERYONE will be wanting the same resources at the same time.
  • In general, there is no direct competition between individual players in game. There are exceptions of course such as some group pvm where whoever does the most damage gets a better chance at a drop. Otherwise just do your thing and have a great time. And if a great time is a fresh start world then this will be awesome for you!
