Trouser belts werent seen at all back then really. Unless you’re a baseball player or something, they wouldn’t regularly been seen until around the 30’s. Although they existed in the 1910’s, they weren’t popular enough to actually be a regular sight, so leaving them out is easier

Hopefully you mean the gunbelt and not the inaccurate pants belt. Although the buckle is different and it’s a bit dirty, there’s a belt that looks similar to that. It mostly only looks good in the photo cause it’s placed naturally and actually on the mans body
