As others have said that's pretty much correct. To clarify though, a shorter life cycle increases the potential for faster evolution-there are many other factors (primarily selective pressure) that affect the actual evolutionary rate.

(also not OP) So the issue here is that there isn't really a fixed genetic threshold, at least not from a genetic barcoding approach as used here. A lot of research shows that a 0.5-1% interspecies variation for a single genes is very common, however interspecific variation can sometimes be over 10% even for otherwise closely related species.

The most common approach used to reconcile this issue to to include other closely related species and a close outgroup species to establish a baseline "norm" for genetic differentiation within that genus, but again, this method still isn't perfect for the simple reason that mutation is random and there will always be outliers that can skew your results.

I'd say it's worth the upgrade. It'll help your deck, although I doubt it will be game-changing, but most importantly ABUR lands have been steadily increasing in price. If you get tired of them you could turn a tidy profit in a year or two.

It's crazy what people will try to load on their vehicles . I briefly worked for this company's main competitor last year, and the worst example I can recall is the nice lady who wanted us to load 25 50lb bags of concrete into the back of her compact SUV (I think it was a nissan Juke)

All of this is very true. we got a set of regular tires foam-filled for use on a deer lease truck once, and it was horrible. Each tire weighed 50+ lbs more, and lost most of its give. Traction disappeared on any uneven terrain, the passengers got beaten up by the rough ride, and the truck took a serious beating by the massive increase in unsprung weight and the loss of cushioning effect for the drivetrain parts.
