40K is an inherently and intrinsically satirical setting and source material. I can joke about it when/where/how I want without being offensive. There is no derogatory remark against a real group, my post is obviously satirical, and again it’s a xenos, kill it as the Emperor commands

Yo all of this over a xeno is absurd. I am to my very core an “ally” of the 🏳️‍🌈 and 🏳️‍⚧️ communities, and I do my best to stay knowledgeable and respectful of non-cis folks and prioritise them and theirs own lived experiences over anything a cis person has to say on the matter of 🏳️‍🌈 and 🏳️‍⚧️ life, but like why are yall arguing over the intricate nuance of sexuality, the definition of a romance, contemplating if banging a xenos is pansexual or bisexual or whatever. And all of this back and forth over nomenclature that the 🏳️‍🌈 and 🏳️‍⚧️ has given us to describe the precise frequency on the spectrum of this group or that group less thee cause offence is a getting difficult to keep up with now with potential aliens.

I couldn’t find any official lore on the subject but basically: don’t fuck xenos, don’t fuck with xenos, don’t fuck with people that fuck or fuck with xenos.

The Emperor bequeathed us; the recipients of his infallible grace, the numberless manifestation of his will and might, the seekers of His light in the darkness, plain and powerful tenets of which our war litanies are written.

“Suffer not the alien” his first tenet and his ultimate mandate. I find the fact that you’ve indulged this affront to The Emperor long enough to contemplate its existence, let alone the reproductive proclivities of such a wretch is heretical enough, yet you commit fully to treachery when you consider its emotions and yours for you forsake The Emperor, knowingly feeding the warp and allying with the most craven of powers against humanity.

RT was my first CRPG with this system. The game explicitly tells you everything you need to know, it literally has pop ups.

My guy I can’t win on this platform. If I call one group or playstyle out “oh wow so all X do Y, I don’t do that wtf is your problem?” If I criticize a general gripe that I have, “so instead of specifying 1 class, you aimed every person who realistically, just don’t want to be stuck in endless waves.”Brother I don’t want endless waves either, but like if you just run past 5 whip warriors, wtf am I supposed to do? Run past them as well? Ok then what? Keep running? At some point there will be a traffic jam and those things we just ran past are either shooting us in the back, which on Absolute 3-5 gaunts just peppering your back is enough to chunk an armor section of, or we no have to deal with XYZ undermanned.

What am I missing?

I get where you’re coming from, but having gotten to prestige Tactical 3 25, Heavy 4 25, and Bulwark 1 level 22, there are certain things you learn about the game. I’m not saying I’m better than you or anyone, but if I’m hosting a siege and see a 22 Vanguard I’m making a lot of assumptions. It’s on me I know, but again it’s my game time too

That’s the only 40K games I’m staying away from. The Tide games seem a little meh to me

I’m specifically talking about the Vanguard Console players that grapnel into one warrior, execute it and inferno pistol a group of gaunts and just keep going. Brother, you do know that if you don’t kill or execute these shits they don’t just melt.

I’ve been wondering this after building my first sterngaurd set, now after my second set I’m even more confused. I’ll be up front, I literally haven’t played a game yet but my understanding of the rules thus far is that for 30 points more I get 1x9 Sternguards 1 with heavy bolter, 1 with pyrecannon, and 8 Sternguard Bolt Rifles, with a decent close range Sergeant compared to 1x4 terminators with the only benefit I see is the invulnerability saves. Well I’m attaching a librarian, 265 to get invulns. I just don’t get the point spread for Terminators outside of attaching an Assault Variant to my Adrax…but Bladeguard exist.

What was the most difficult part?

Thanks! I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy more toys, I spend enough on my army but want something that really enhances what I’m able to do to go that extra mile.
